Long cryptograms!
I liked that the cryptograms were three or four lines long. Very nice book. Recognized Henry Hook name.

Awesome Brain Workout
By my calculations it should take me 8 months to finish every puzzle in this book. Lol I don't know why I felt like I needed 650. I finished 88 in a month. I only worked on puzzles between dinner and bedtime (no Im not a senior). Maybe that's not as much of an accomplishment and I'm just underestimating you, but for someone who considers myself a little above average in the intelligence department, that makes this a great value.I've been stuck on #89 for a few days. It has a 16 letter word in it and I refuse to cheat and Google 16 letter words (and you shouldn't either if you plan to purchase this, that would be cheating.)There are answers in the back, but thats redundant because there's no need to check it if you solve it. If you can't solve it you don't deserve to know what it says. (Maybe I'm joking, maybe I'm not)After a month I feel much more witty and more focused. 97% (as a guess, I didn't actually do the math (or maths if you're not American)) were actually very thoughtful funny quotes, 3% were probably included because the person who submitted it was a fan or someone got it off a "10 Best Funny Quotes" blog.Id definitely recommend to a friend.

Great large print with both hints and answers at the back.
What I liked: 1) I don't need glasses to see the large print, as well as the large print giving me more room to write my answers, 2) the spiral binding lets me fold the right-hand pages back as I work on the left-hand pages without the text disappearing into the binding, 3) it has both hints and answers in the back, 4) the quotes are humorous and fun to solve. What I didn't like: It took a bit of effort to crease the cardboard binding without tearing it from the spirals, but it was necessary in order to fold the right-hand pages back.

Almost as excellent as Book 1. Loved it!
Let's get the one negative out of the way first: I found 8 repeats from the first book. Not too shabby! There were no typos or errors. Pretty amazing. The paper quality rocks - you can erase multiple times and still have a clean workspace. There are 652 quotes. They range from the rare "I can read it at a glance" to "I have to come back to it later." A great mixture of easy, medium, and more difficult.Though I didn't know as many of the authors as I did in their first book I did recognize most names, and that's always enjoyable. The spiral binding is great. The book lays flat and often, depending on how far you are in it, you can flip it so you only have one page showing. Yes, it takes up space - it's big! - but I loved the size and format. If I had to choose between book 1 and book 2 I'd pick book one hands down because the authors are more familiar and the spacing per page was a little better in that I could use the book as a quasi-journal/to-do list/doodle pad. This one, not so much.

enjoyable, but won't fold over on itself due to binding
Nice book with lots of puzzles, hints and answers in back. Lots of white space to write and such. Easy to read.No ratings of easy, medium or hard on any of them. But I have issues with the cover. There are multiple puzzles per page and this is a thick book with a spiral binding. Yet you can't fold it back on itself to hold it in one hand and work it as the cover has this odd extra piece on the spine that prevents it from laying flat when you try to do this. I found that spine piece so annoying I finally had to take scissors to it and cut it off and now the book folds flat.I've done about 25 puzzles so far and am becoming aware that the authors are, universally, male. Could just be a fluke or the ones I'm doing but when looking at authors names now I seem to be able to rule out Mary's or Susan's, lol.

These are tough!
Big book, spiral bound, large print, quotes that are unusual and a good challenge. Hints and answers provided.

Large Print Cryptograms #2
I really like this cryptogram book. It is a bit harder than most of the books you'll find, butI find them really enjoyable.

These are fairly challenging puzzles which is great.
I find the glazed paper is not compatible with the gel pens I prefer to use. Other than that I look forward to hours of good puzzles ahead.

Love the Cryptogram puzzle quotations.
I love this Cryptogram book with its white pages (not newsprint) and the design of the coil spine allows all pages to lay flat while you work on each puzzle page. I don't need large print so it took a while to get used to it but it's fine. I use this book every day.
