Best Concealed Carry (IWB and OWB) / EDC Belt I’ve ever owned.
Best material for a concealed carry belt no matter if you carry inside the waistband or outside the waistband. Rigid enough to support a holstered firearm but flexible enough to be comfortable all day. Natural curve is designed into the belt which gives you that broken in belt feel. I own one in Black, brown and OD green. Can be worn dressed down or dressed up in a suit. Have owned for over 5 years and have had 0 issues. Literally the only belt you need. Highly recommend especially for those that carry.

As far as I can tell great VEGAN belt
I thought I would put in my 2 cents on this belt. I actually primarily bought this belt as a vegan belt because all of the vegan belts I've seen look like trash and look like they would fall apart quickly. This belt has a solid look of leather and so in can be worn in my office setting job and present the fashion I was going for. I secondarily bought it as a concealed carry belt and it works perfectly in that capacity as well given how stiff and rigid it is. There are complaints about how difficult to sinch this belt up but like all things in life this is overcome with practice. I'm not going to say it's as easy as a traditional belt but it's much more sturdy than a traditional belt and holds up pants MUCH better. My only gripe is that the way the logo on this belt goes it's threaded through the left side of the pants not the right, which I always thought was for ladies. That's a personal opinion though and I'm not gonna knock stars for it.I will also say this belt is so incredibly durable. I've worn it daily for 3 months now and it looks completely brand new. A great belt for vegans, gun advocates, or people just interested in high quality belts.

Love the fit, frustrating to buckle. Wish I had bought it a year ago.
I like the fit and comfort of this belt so much I am seriously kicking myself for not getting it sooner. I wear it all day at a desk job where I hunch over a lot, and I'm a big guy. At 6'2" 265 lbs belt buckles can irritate my belly and I have experience zero discomfort with this belt. It also carries my M&P 40c secure and stable, not drag or jostle on the draw. The only con, and the reason for the docked star, is the fastening mechanism. It is comfortable and secure, but it is difficult to hook. As others have mentioned the belt going under itself is frustrating, but it might get easier with time or experience.Overall I'm very very happy, it's the best belt I've ever purchased. I threw my rigger belt out the second day after this arrived. Thanks 5.11!

I cant be the only one.......
I was just slightly apprehensive to buy this belt because of so many reviews saying it is a P.I.T.A. to get on. I had some difficulty the first day wearing it. It is now my third day wearing the belt and i can get it on and buckled just slightly slower than my traditional belts. I should note that i have not yet carried while wearing the belt, so this may or may not affect the speed in which i get the belt adjusted and closed, but i don't see how. I got the Dark Horse Brown color, and it goes great with my work attire that consists primarily of khaki's and a Polo. I am between a 36 and 38 and got the large size which fits perfectly. This is my first belt like this, so i have no basis of comparison to other similar products, but in my humble opinion this belt is worth every penny.

Fantastic Medium Weight EDC (Every Day Carry) Gun Belt and a really good BELT
Before I go into specifics I should point out that there ARE better gun belts out there. I own several in fact. However, they tend to a MINIMUM of 30% more expensive and MUCH heavier... easily capable of carrying full-sized/Service handguns and gear properly. I would point out that most people who carry concealed on a regular basis rarely carry weapons heavier than a mid-sized handgun (a Glock 19 or similar) and their accompanying gear, if any, is generally limited to an extra magazine, a multi-tool (or similar), and a flashlight or pepper spray. This belt is PERFECT for a loadout like that. And it is a DAMN good belt. The construction of the belt is really nice, the buckle is really handy (once you get use to it), and I expect it to last a LONG time... really great value for the money.

Oh yeah, comfort and sturdy carry belt.
I had a wilderness product belt instructor series with the kydex insert for 8 years, then I ended up buying A belt from Special Operations equipment known as SOE which cost me $65.00 but I have to tell you that over the years 5. 11 has came out with around three quarters good equipment and one quarter of complete garbage tactical gear. this belt is part of the three quarters of awesomeness. if you're looking for a really good concealed carry belt for you are rig and want comfort and a belt stiff enough don't hold your weapon system secure and close to your body this thing is so comfortable and so dang durable that it's definitely the one you want to buy. 15 years CCW carrying EVERY day. My opinion this belt is my favorite. My 2 cents.

... know how to feel about this belt - it's super floppy but it does resist bending along the width ...
I don't know how to feel about this belt - it's super floppy but it does resist bending along the width quite a bit (the band itself, not locking it then bending the whole belt - it's floppy in THAT sense too. It doesn't seem like a design that will last you a super long time but it does seem to be a better alternative to a leather belt in the sense that it's made of some kind of synthetic rubber like material. It reminds me of the coating on Hogue grips or some kinda industrial machinery pulley belt. I carry a Springfield XDS and I'm a little 130lb 5'7" guy if that puts my review into perspective a little.

5.11 For the Win Again!
When my puppy destroyed my MTAC Leather Kydex Reinforced Contour Belt, I wanted to try something new. The 5.11 Tactical 52-54-Inch Apex Gunner's Belt is my new favorite belt. It is every bit as rigid as the MTAC belt but it weighs significantly less. My wife likes that the 5.11 belt doesn't look like a "cop belt", which is how she described the MTAC.As other reviewers have stated, the belt material is very "sticky". This is both a pro and a con for me. It is definitely much more difficult to adjust as compared to my MTAC belt. I suspect this would be less so if I laid off the beer. However, the sticky also helps keep everything where I want it when I carry.
