Well, it fit my 2015 SXT V6 perfectly. You’ll want to grab some foam weatherstripping to line the bottom and a small area in the side so it doesn’t rattle. Make sure it’s not too dense of weatherstripping, as it must be able to sink down into the engine bay fully to seat in. It’s easy, just remember to clean the base and the side areas with isopropyl alcohol. Wally World has the weatherstripping for just a few bucks. You got this. HUGE SIDE NOTE, in case you’re not aware, you’ll also need to purchase a separate tube that connects from this Hellcat box to the headlight inlet so the cooler air can actually get sucked into the intake. AFE POWER makes a very good one(model #54-72203-6) I purchased right here on Amazon, too. There’s plenty of videos on YTshowing how to install it and it’s super easy to install. I’d recommend also purchasing an inlet grill set that goes into the headlight cold air inlet so bugs and birds and even mice cannot get in and try to make the intake box their new home. They wouldn’t last long but I didn’t want any animals getting harmed so I sought them out. Plus mice can eat wires if they find their way in after getting through the home I got mine ONeBay. I’m also going to open up the passenger side inlet, run a duct downward into the engine bay so even more cool air can flood the engine area. Some just open up the inlet hole and let water just flow into the engine. I just cannot swallow that pill so that’s why I’m installing an air duct. The inlet opening is 3.5” if you’re wanting to do that too. Ok, I’m done. Best wishes;D

Great upgrade for a 5.7 hemi. I replaced my stock airbox with this and a K&N performance air filter, definitely woke up the car and throttle response. Make sure you order some foam weather stripping to put on the bottom of the airbox to create a seal

Bought this for my 2021 Challenger and also purchased the attachment that came separately… The lower fit fine however the attachment didn’t fit properly and despite me having to trim it off the angle didn’t work well for me so I used a lot of gaffers tape to seal it up. After getting it to work I took my car for a ride and immediately notice there was less power in the low end and it lost some of the torque too… The problem I ran into is that whenever you add more air to the intake the fuel management system needs to be flashed to accommodate this which I didn’t do because the sellers are saying you don’t need to do this, they are wrong. I ended up removing it and replacing the original intake back in my vehicle and wouldn’t you know it, my car ran normal with tons of low end torque. This product will work well as long as you or a dealer flashes the vehicle’s fuel management system and calibrates the fuel/air flow to accommodate the changes…

This Hellcat air box is great and has been working without any issues since I installed it. I installed this on my 2018 Dodge Charger SXT plus and not only has it added a little more giddy up but my temps are running a little bit cooler. My aftermarket filter fit just fine and I was able to add some tubing to fit the Hellcat extra hole for increased airflow. As others have said there is a few things which must be removed from the old air box and put on the new one. The rubber piece fits good on the new air box from the old and I was able to remove the cushioning on the bottom of the old air box and glue it onto the new one. Shipping was fast and overall a great product for any Charger or Challenger.

Great alternative to CAI. Definitely more responsive and more noticeable in sport mode.. Easy install but had to make a slight modification for the air box in order for cover to fit. You will need to remove two small tabs on the top side of the air box in order for the cover to sit flush. Easy task if you have a Dremel tool.

Would be nice if FCA made this with all the minor items like the foam and grommets, but can't complain for the money. Works just as well as any aftermarket CAI, only cheaper. If you want to lower your IAT's, I'd suggest heat wrapping the box as sitting in traffic will raise the IAT's. Going down the highway you'll get within 5 degrees of ambient with this box and inlet tube (I've seen as low as 3 degrees within ambient).

I bought this part so I could take advantage of the increased air intake on the side of the "hellcat" box that ducts to the intake hole through the drivers side inboard headlight. If you want to increase cold air flow into your engine, buy this part and the small duct tube that connects it to the "through the headlight" air hole and save yourself hundreds of dollars vs an aftermarket cold air intake system. yeah it won't look as "cool" as the aftermarket ones, but it works about as well and most likely won't void your warranty. The airbox drops right in perfectly, the OEM filter fits perfectly, the top of the box fits the original one perfectly, installation takes no more than 1/2 hour.
