RothcoGen Iii Silk Weight Bottoms

I bought this along with the TOP they offer as a "next to skin" base layer in the colder months. This is a great base layer to wear that you want next to your skin. But you want some room to move without the material compressing. It should be a comfortably forming fit. There is a noticeable difference when I have this top and the bottoms on under my clothing. Silky texture that allows whatever clothes your wearing to glide over. And the polyestor does a good job at holding in your body heat, but also wicking away moisture if you become to active and start to persperate. I am happy with the purchase. Pair these bottoms with the TOP, then explore the Level 2 ECWCS mid weight top and bottoms as your second layering system.

I like the weight, texture, and fit.

High-quality light-weight silks I wear under dress slacks on cold days. I've tried several different brands over the past two years, and these wear and last well, and aren't too hot to wear indoors during the winter. Perfect.

Its ok for the price

False advertising. Product called "generation 111 silk weight", I assumed I was buying silk material. They are, in fact, cheap polyester. They could have honestly been called "silk like" or "imitation silk" and I would not have wasted my money. Live and learn I guess, but I order a lot through Amazon and this is the 3rd item in the past 5 weeks that is not acurately, nor honestly, described. Wow.

Very large - suggest working on sizes. Otherwise OK-good weight, good thermal control, and wash and dries overnight.Just check with company about the size.

These silk feeling under garments are awesome for the cold weather that is gripping Minnesota right now. I had to work outside for several days and the only thing I had trouble keeping warm was exposed skin on hands and face...Awesome!!

Low quality. Much thinner than army issue. Not as much elasticity. Also if you have wide feet it needs a good tug to get on. As well if you have define calf muscles its tight
