Glass is superior to plastic in so many ways for so many reasons.
I love pyrex storage containers. Glass is superior to plastic in so many ways for so many reasons. Oven, microwave, frig, freezer safe. Of course, don't heat the lid. Don't even put in the dishwasher, as it will loosen the fit. I have all three main sizes in the rectangle and round shape. The rectangle ones are great because they fit in the frig so well, straight edges of container to straight edges of frig. And they stack wonderfully. I stack them two or three high often. I often use the round ones as a eating dish, but also use them for storage in the frig or freezer also. I have gotten many unexpected compliments on my frig because of them. People admire how organized my frig looks. I love the ease of use and connivence. They are built to last, though they can break. They are not invincible. I accidentally broke one by putting cold liquid in it when it was hot. And of course it can break if you drop it at the wrong angle. But they are sturdy and can handle a lot of rough handling. They do leak if you tilt them, but are there really leak proof containers out there? And if they exist how much to they cost and how hard are they to open and close? Just be careful when handling if there is a lot of liquid in the container. When I travel with them, which I have for years, taking my lunch or dinner on the road with me, I wrap them in two gallon ziplock bags. I put the container in the first bag Then turn it around and put the wrapped container in another bag, with open end of bag on opposite sides. That way if it leaks into the first bag, the second bag catches the leaks. I don't ziplock either bag. Sometimes, I'll even put a cloth napkin around the container before they go into the bags. But I've also learned to cook and pack "dryer" foods in the pyrex and carry liquids in tight screw tight jars that I save from products I buy. Like pint size Adams peanut butter jars. They are excellent for storing liquids. But I digress. They do cost more money then plastic and are heavier, but if you can afford them, they are the better choice.

Great quality and fit lots of food in each container
Im very happy with this purchase. They are large containers so a proper lunchbox might be necessary to fit it in. They are superior to the plastic counterparts and cleaning them is a breeze. I like to keep things that hold my food clean, so I like that it cleans better than plastic as well. They're also microwave safe which is a plus too! Thick glass makes for a quality product from Pyrex.

Storage 🤌🏾
I love the size of these...can easily use for leftovers. They are not leakproof...good for dry or moist foods...ie rice, macaroni, beans. Not for soup, gravy or anything loose. Lids fit great. I got the red because I will send leftover spaghetti with red sauce for lunch and I was tired of the stains on the lighter colors. 🥴

Excellent storage containers, especially if you want to avoid getting micro plastics in your food
I love these storage containers for keeping food, fresh and free of micro plastics. You’d be surprised how much of those are getting into our bodies these days.

Heavy duty
Nest nicely together. Heavy. Washes easily. No rim which makes it harder to lift or use.

Perfect for my raw-food meals for my dogs and cats
These are perfect for the raw-meat meals I pre-prepare for my dogs and cats. They allow the mix to freeze quickly, and stack efficiently in the freezer. When needed, they thaw quickly and uniformly.I get frozen ground beef/bone/organs and chicken/bones/organs from Hare Today farms I also get extra ground organs, to ensure complete nutrition. They come in frozen rolls. I thaw them and then mix the extra organs into the meat, using a large stainless steel bowl. I use 5# beef to 1# organs fro the dogs and 4# chicken to 1# organs for the cats. Then I freeze the mixtures. For use during the week, I thaw as needed.I have been using plastic containers, but I was not confident I could wash them completely. Glass is the answer. Each of these holds several days' worth of food.
