Sistema Food Storage Container, 920 ml, Clear with Grey Clips and Seal

At first this container was leak proof. We tested it by putting water in it and shaking it around and it seemed to be 100% leak proof. After about 2-3 uses the container seemingly lost its ability to be leak proof. When carrying soup to work I found it leaking all over my backpack. All in all definitely not worth the price or the risk.

I am a habitual batch cooker and have tried various freezer containers - flimsy takeaway plastic tubs, rigid plastic clip lock tubs, foil tubs with cardboard lids, pyrex tubs with plastic lids.... BUT THESE ARE THE BEST!!!! Truly honestly the best and worth the money as you will never need any other tubs ever again.They dont stain at all - you can freeze tomato based meals, then defrost and microwave them and then put the tub in the dishwasher .... still crystal clear!I have had these for over 1 year and use constantly - they are still Crystal clear and as good as new. No cracks, no scratches and the rubber seals are immacukate!Cannot recommend enough!

I have many of Sistema’s products and although they’re relatively costly they do tend to last.Been looking for something longer lasting for freezing and microwaving bulk cooked food. These are absolutely perfect for the task. The seals are very good and almost airtight.Haven’t had any issues with leaking but then again I haven’t exactly shook the container about with it filled to the brim with fluid.What I like: they really are stain proof. I’ve used them for casseroles and etc and they come up sparkling after a wash every time! They are crystal clear so you can see what’s stored inside when in the fridge - looks neater too. The finish looks very glass-like.My issues, then. They are perhaps not as robust as they could be - they scratch and mark very easily! After microwaving food with them, you’ll find scorch marks internally and these are permanent. Given this, I’m not sure how long they’ll keep their sparkling finish which is a shame when you consider the price.Also, some people may have difficulty removing the lids. The seals are so thick it makes it very hard to remove the lid. Be careful when trying to do so after removing the container from the microwave!The seals also make the product harder to clean/dry as liquid is able to wedge within the grooves.All being said, I really like them and despite the high price they really do look and function really well. If only they were scratch and abrasion proof.

I like this product, however the dimensions for 380mL (14 x 9.5 x 14 cm) posted on the website is misleading. The actual dimensions are (length x width x height) 12cm x 8cm x 6cm. I was expecting it to be bigger as per the dimensions advertised, to my surprise it is quite disappointing.

These food containers look nicer and are more resistant to stains and pitting than regular food containers, but, as I found out, they will still discolour and melt slightly with curries and other high fat foods.They are also a bit more brittle than regular food containers, and they don't really flex at all, which means getting food frozen in them harder to get out.If you are thinking of these for freezing food batches, I think you'd be better off with silicone moulds and then use a small glass casserole dish for reheating in the microwave.
