Why Thick Bar Training? Try contracting just your bicep with an open hand. Then contract your bicep plus your forearm with a closed fist. You will notice a much stronger contraction in your bicep when your fist is closed. This is called muscle irradiation. The basic principle of irradiation states that the harder a muscle contracts, the harder the surrounding muscle contracts. This is the principle behind the movement to thicker training bars. If your hand is contracting more because the bar is thicker and awkward to control, the entire muscle group activated by the exercise will be more engaged. In the early days of bodybuilding and weight lifting, thick handle barbells were more common with 2 inch plus outside diameters. Today, most gyms and weightlifting / training centers are equipped with barbells and dumbbells with 1 inch handles. However, there is a resurgence in thick handle training equipment because trainers, athletes, bodybuilders and recreational lifters are re-discovering the significant benefits when the Fit Grips are used.

Excelente producto.
Se siente el cambio desde el primer uso, involucra los antebrazos y los explota al maximo. Intente con tubos de natación y se rompen a la primera. sinceramente son muy caros para ser un pedazo de plastico pero funcionan, el material super resistente y se ve que van a durar por mucho tiempo, ambos tipos de agarres se ocupan. Le diera las 5 estrellas si no fueran tan caros.... De lo demás todo bien.

Good value
Went with the smaller black grips to break myself in gently. Found them to be easy to put on and gave me a comfortable firm grip and a good forearm workout. Would be happy to move up to the bigger sizes with this company once my forearms acclimatize to these!

Excellent grip!
I use it to cover the handles on the power tower when doing my chest dips and on a another machine when doing chest pull workouts. Good durability and provides the grip I need. Excellent value for money.

Not cheap feeling like some of them out there, snap back to shape after application and removal, will likely buy another set.

Very Pleased
Incredible quality at a very reasonable price. Been trying all my life. As one gets older the body responds differently and these grips “open up” the body part and seem to recruit more muscle fibres. I am very pleased.
