These magnets are perfect use for car gas tank door. My car gas tank door henge had flawed design in the spring that keeps door closed. So I removed the spring and rubber stops. Placed a magnet or two on door in place of where rubber stops would be. When you close door the magnet(s) will adhere to car as the metal on body is thicker. Then just open/close gas door as needed.

Bought for my students to experiment with. They broke into pieces. The magnets arced, as well.

These were pretty tiny and for their size, the magnetic power was lacking. They didn’t hold two thin items 3D printed with PLA filament in place. Going to look for stronger magnets.

Very strong small, cylindrical (10mm) magnets. What you see is pretty much what arrived - they are very strong for their size.
