Solid, Trusty Hammock Stand
I've been using this stand with a variety of hammocks (and ridgelines lately) instead of a bed since April 2018. It has held up very well. 2 stress points developed and paint chipped off at the stressed joints, but it's still solid. $70 stand and $30 hammock and $15 sleeping bag put together are way more comfortable than a $1000 mattress for me

Not for old people
I've always wanted a hammock. I've seen ads of old ladies resting with the sun setting and reading a book. I wanted that dream. The joke was on me and it became a nightmare. Putting this together was a snap. unfolding the hammock, the strings/rings were twisted but when those were straightened out and hung, I was looking at my masterpiece - master PEACE. Not to be had for me. Sitting in the middle as directed landed me on the bottom bar and I'm not THAT heavy! But I didn't fall out! After trying to readjust so I could swing my legs in, i became a burrito with the sides of the hammock wrapping totally around me and I couldn't see outside of the multicolored burrito shell! My dog went nuts because this thing had swallowed me up so jumped toward the hammock so I went swinging. Okay, enough of that, not sure this is right for me. Tried to get out. Um, HELP. My butt was so low to the ground (sitting on the bottom cross support bar) that I couldn't get my legs under me and there was nothing to push on because the burrito was still attacking me! About that time, my husband comes in and it takes him both arms and lots of leaning back leveridge to rescue me from the wrapped around-not letting go burrito. Well darn. I was grateful for the swing from my dog, grateful my husband was able to pull me free, grateful I didn't get a bruise on my butt and grateful I was able to put it all back into the box for its safe return. Maybe a hammock with the poles so the hammock part lays flat and not like a stretched out wet towel...The fabric and frame is sturdy and I really like the colors. I'm sad. But I sure enjoyed the adventure!

Big enough for two people
The hammock was very easy to set up, just had to place a few screws and bolts in place. The hardest part was trying to stretch the hammock over the posts to hook the rings. You will have to put some muscle into that part. I bought the two person hammock which cocoons one person inside. This is a good thing if you want to take a nap but bad if you want to socialize or watch tv or read a book. I constantly found myself trying to move the sides down so I would not feel so constricted. I think I would have been more satisfied with just a one person hammock. Might try to see if that’s available without having to order the stand again. I have the hammock in my gazebo which’s sits on a concrete slab. The slab is not even in the spot I have the hammock set up in so the base is not always sturdy. Once I am able to move the patio table and chairs out I think I will have more stable ground where they sit. All in all it’s a good value for what I paid for it.

Hammock like being in the caribbean...
Great for the price. Not like my mom's but good enough when you do not have trees. Hammock smells a little like chemicals when opened so air it out before use. Hammock also sheds cloth particles and you cannot wash it because of the metal hooks at the end. Overall it does the job before committing to an expensive one with UV protection. Bars are sturdy. It comes with a tote bag for travel and pillow. It does wrap you in. Fun for the summer.

This is my first hammock and I love it! It took about 10 minutes-ish to put the pieces of the stand together and hook it up. (Start with the highest hole...hook the hammock and sit on it to stretch a little, then adjust to whatever hole you want it to be hooked on for your height preference.) Seems to be nice quality so far, and the hammock holds both my big husband and me up, so it's very strong. I like that it comes all-in-one with a hammock, stand, pillow, and carry case if we want to take it on vacation or store the fabric hammock. Nice value for the price I paid! Laying in it took a little getting used to...If I lay the long way, it kind of cocoons me, if I lay the other way, my feet hit the ground, but if I kind of lay diagonally, it works great.

Love it!
Love this hammock! Very comfortable to sit in it or to lay down in it. Did not notice any bad odor to it as someone else mentioned. And I have sensitive nose for those things. Very well packed and I appreciate the spare parts as well. It was I little tough to put the hammock on the stand by myself at first, but it stretched fairly easily to put in the top set of holes. After sitting in it for a while, it stretched even more so I was able to move the hooks one hole down. Haven’t tried to fit two people yet but can imagine it being comfy for two as well as there is plenty of room.Color pictured and received match I guess. Not sure if I was supposed to receive a pillow with it or not. The pillow shows on some pictures and some don’t. And I have not received any. No manual on how to put together received either, but it was easy. Having the hammock stand pictured on the box would be helpful to guide ppl on how to put together. But I pulled the photo from the order and then it was clear which way the legs go. The rest is pretty straight forward
