Works well on delicate surfaces!
As stated in the product description, this tape is made for delicate surfaces. It is not as strong as the blue tape so don't expect it to have the same hold. It has a lighter grip and peels off easily. I purchased it to use on painted walls but also found it useful to label bins. Because of the lighter color, it's handy to write the bin contents with black marker on a piece of tape and stick it on the bin. It seems to be a bit high priced but it's useful and I would buy it again.

Great quality
This is high-quality tape and great for painting or marking items in your home.I do wish I had ordered a wider tape than this version but loved it anyway. If you leave it on for a very long time even this more sensitive product will adhere to things like hardwood floors so remove it promptly. It does come off easily after a day or a week, but not after a month.I find this product and gorilla tape better than the other painters tapes that I have used. I would buy this one again in a heartbeat.

Best Delicate Tape
I’ve been using this tape for a few years now, it simply works really good. My delicate sections I tape over with this has never been damaged. I’ll continue to keep using this, love it.

Good for 3D Printing
I have not actually used this for painting; I used it for 3D printing PLA because at the time it was the cheapest single roll of ScotchBlue. The tape is thinner and much smoother than the regular tape, but this had no effect with getting my builds to stick. Tape tears easily off the roll but does not easily tear up when you are removing it from the bed. Prints stick well while printing but peel off the tap easily and I am able to print on in multiple times without issues. The only issue I had is that the orange words tends to stick on to the bottom of your part. If this is an issue for you, don't buy this. I don't really mind personally.I will most likely buy more of this.

Good Solution for taping over Wall Paint
This did an admirable job. It wasn't perfect for holding in paint from creeping where the surface was irregular but there has to be a trade-off between not pulling the surface on removal and adhering. Where paint is flaking, you probably shouldn't be painting directly over that anyway but it will of course lift up flaking paint. I would use it again for applying to a painted wall so as to repaint adjacent floorboards.

Perfect gentle adhesion on paper for artists
I use this tape on watercolor paper or sketchbooks to keep a clean white edge on my pages. This tape is the perfect adhesion. Strong enough to block the paint, but not too strong. I almost never rip the paper when removing it (never, if I heat the tape with a hair dryer before carefully peeling it up). The only issue for me was getting used to having that lavender color all around my art work while I'm painting -- not always an easy thing to ignore. I wish they offered this same delicate surface tape in a neutral white/cream color (artists would gobble it up!!!!), but this will have to do.

Perfect painters tape
I was pleased to find this for a good price. It saved a trip to the local home improvement store. It keeps paint out of areas you don't want and removes cleanly. I use it to paint a perfectly straight line wherever I want one. Be sure to press down the edge of the tape with your finger nail to assure that paint won't seep under the tape. I have used it on paint that has dried for as little as 48 hours with excellent results.

Not as good as yellow Frogtape
I originally bought this tape to spray paint a pair of shoes for a Halloween costume, and it did a good enough job for the task. Now that I'm painting my apartment however, I'm having some issues with it.Annoyance #1) it's very thin, so longer strips usually curl and stick together when taking pieces off of the roll.Annoyance #2) paint occasionally bleeds through under the tape, especially on parts of drywall where the corners and edges aren't 100% flat and perfect. This made my goal of getting really clean lines nearly impossible (I found a tip to seal the edge with a little caulk before painting, but I don't have any). I later bought a roll of yellow Frogtape Delicate and it performs MUCH better.Annoyance #3) since it's thin, it sometimes tears when removing if there's dried paint on it, leaving razor thin strips of purple tape behind. Frogtape hasn't done this yet (another tip: score the paint/tape line with a razor before removal, or don't let thick layers of paint dry too much before removing tape)Annoyance #4) it sometimes does remove a little bit of paint when removing, despite being made for delicate surfaces. Not a lot, but enough for me to proceed very carefully out of concern that I'll need to go back and do more touch-ups (yet another tip: learn & practice how to paint cut-ins without using tape, lol)So there you go--I'm no painter or carpenter, or even a hardcore crafting type. I'll probably have to paint my place again before I move out. If I do, yellow Frogtape is my new brand for that and all future paint jobs (unless I master freehand cutting before then).

Second Order - Good Product Obviously
What I love about this tape is that it's translucent and I can see the thickness of the border that I'm leaving on my paper really easily and ensure the border is uniform. What is problematic is that is has peeled the fibres off the paper but just a bit - that's easy to mitigate by sticking the tape on your clothing and removing some of its stickiness. The translucence of the tape and the accuracy with which I can tape a border far out weigh the stickiness.
