Love The Combination of Simplicity and Flexibility!
Decided to buy this board to make sure I could keep training while staying at home, and so far I'm extremely impressed. The wood is dense & high quality, and between the holds it's got everything you need. I mostly use with the hanging rope in my backyard or at the park, but I like that it has mounting holes as well. Going to put together a quick mounting station above my bedroom door and have that be it's permanent location.

Great concept but painful execution
Like climbers everywhere, I've been desperately missing my local gym. And living in an apartment, I didn't want to risk installing a heavy-duty hangboard. This portable hangboard seemed like a great option, but unfortunately the grooves were just too painful to handle. I've been climbing for years and have fairly strong fingers and developed calluses, and I don't *think* I've turned *that* sensitive during SIP...so while I can't be positive whether it's just me or faulty design, I ended up having to return it :/

Easily hangable
I purchased this Friction Labs hangboard because I wanted to easily be able to hang a board without drilling into the wall. This board was the solution! I have hung it on a tree and on my pull-up bar and it works great! The ledges are pretty small so you’d have to be strong or light to be able to use them, but if you can it’s great for maintaining strength.

Perfect for hanging from my pull-up bar. Living in a apartment right now so didn’t really want to mount it. Great solution :)

20mm edge is really sharp
This is a great hangboard for an apartment, I'm hanging it from a pullup bar and it feels solid.The only issue is that the edges are really sharp. Mostly an issue with the deeper 20mm edge, it digs into your fingers and it really hurts after a couple sets. I've never had this problem using other hangboards. This is something that's probably easily fixed with some sanding, but I wish it came rounded from the factory.
