DJI Motion Controller

If the DJI FPV drone is your first excursion into FPV flying, this flight stick will let you ease into controlling the drone. If you are a seasoned pilot, you'll want to skip it. The stick will only let the drone rotate, fly forward, or fly upwards/downwards as opposed to the full control that the joystick controller gives. This means that when flying in FPV mode, you're always traveling in the direction your camera is facing. You're less likely to crash into something you can't see. I personally liked it and had zero control issues. I liked how in FPV mode I could see a reticule onscreen to help guide where I was flying. There was also a box that indicated the orientation of the stick which helped me make sure that I was flying level. The stick performed so well, I felt confident in handing control over to my daughter to fly for a few minutes. Finally, I was pleased to find that you can also fly the drone directly without the FPV goggles turned on.

The DJI FPV drone was my first quad and this made flying the FPV easy and fun from day one. The RC traditionalists at the local RC club were not hip about it. “You need to learn the controller first...” i recommend this to anyone who is new to DJI and quads. Note that you will not have the same degree of granular control as the regular controller.

There's two people in the world of FPV. The people who love to rip up the sky, doing tricks that aim to trigger motion sickness in as many people they can get to view the footage. And the people who just want to see the world from a bird's perspective. This controller is for the latter. If you are getting into the FPV scene because you want to be as skilled as the members of Rotor Riot or similar YouTube channels, then STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTROLLER! This controller is designed for the most casual of pilots and you will NOT be able to excel in aerial acrobatics using it. (I dare say it will just hold you back.) That being said, this controller is PERFECT for simply cruising! Point and go! It's so intuitive that there's really zero learning curve. If you can point at something, you can fly a drone with this! The downside is that there's no lateral movement available with this controller. Straight up, straight down, and forward only. (Can't even back up if you get too close to something. You need to turn around.)

I've only used this on about 3-4 flights out of a dozen or so thus far, but it definitely makes flying more intuitive and therefore more enjoyable and easier to learn. It seems more expensive than it should be, but as part of the cost of making flying "fun", I don't regret it. I don't think this would be a great controller for pushing the limits of what the craft can do, but I also don't think that's the strength of it. It makes it almost too easy to just have a good time flying without thinking about everything that a good pilot should be! In the right hands though, I think that can be a good thing some of the time.

Pretty easy to use and good but I don't really see the point of using it

Just took my maiden voyage today! Love it! I actually have only flown with the motion controller so far. I love the motion controller and how ridiculously simple and intuitive it is. It makes flying the drone so stupidly easy. My 8 year old can fly this drone with the motion controller - it really does make flying that simple. Pull trigger to fly forward. Tilt right to turn right. Tilt left to turn left. Hold button to take off. Hold button to land. Oh my gosh. What genius created this thing. A-W-E-S-O-M-E. You could literally fly the DJI FPV with just the motion controller for the entire time you own this drone and never even use the standard remote controller. Lol. This thing deserves 6 stars!

Since getting the motion controller I haven't even used the regular controller. Remember when people didn't know they wanted smart phones until Apple came out with them? Well, that's what the motion controller is for drones. I have no interest in crazy FPV flips, etc., but for smooth flying where you feel like you are in an airplane with a joystick, this thing is the greatest drone accessory I have.

The regular FPV controller 2 is gonna be weird for me to get the hang of as I keep trying to look at it with my goggles on. But this controller is super easy to get the hang of immediately

Es kam ein Originalprodukt an, welches bei mir im einwandfreiem Zustand befand. Kann nichts aussetzen, bis auf den Preis, das liegt jedoch an Dji und nicht am Verkäufer hier :D

Per quanto, per un volo preciso col DJI FPV sia necessario usare il controller classico, il Motion Controller offre un'esperienza differente, e molto divertente, visto che - nonostante i suoi limiti - da l'impressione di pilotare il drone stando all'interno del suo cockpit. Funziona solo in modalità Normal e Sport. Non permette di andare indietro. Per fare certe manovre è necessario torcere il polso e/o ruotare su sé stessi (io uso questo secondo metodo). La portata radio mi sembra analoga a quella del controller classico, la durata della batteria è sufficiente per fare diversi voli (3 batterie in sport e l'indicatore è sceso di un pallino...). Quasi mi piace di più far volare il DJI FPV con il Motion Controller che col controller classico!
