CenterPointSniper Elite 385 Compound Crossbow air Pistol

I am new to the world of crossbows. I had been looking at the bows available at a couple of the local box stores and was trying to narrow down my selection. Since I don’t hunt, I wasn’t looking for a top-of-the-line bow, but I didn’t want a cheap one either. I enjoy going to the range with my rifles and pistols and thought that a crossbow would be a nice addition. Anyhow, I had pretty much decided on a particular bow, and this one wasn’t it. But, the salesman, who seemed relatively knowledgeable, showed me the plus and minuses of this bow, and the pluses and minuses of the one I had decided on. OK, back to the drawing board.So, back home and more research. By the next day, I was back at the store and decided on this one. Am I glad about my decision? Yes. Once I sighted in the scope, this thing is dead accurate. Even before I got it sighted in, although my arrows weren’t on target, they were right next to each other, almost touching. So close, that I started to aim each arrow at a separate part of the target, to avoid the possibility of hitting the first arrow.One thing that was somewhat bothersome though, is the buttstock. It’s a loose fit, and it rattles. I used my calipers to measure and it appears that CP used a mil-spec sized buffer tube, but a commercial-spec stock. So, I took the stock off my AR, put it on the bow, and it made a world of difference. So, I ordered a Magpul mil-spec buttstock. While waiting for it, I put about 3 layers of clear packing tape on the tube, and that seemed to do the job. But, to me, that is a temporary fix. Once the Magpul came, I put it on, and the problem was solved.Overall, I think this is a great crossbow, and I would recommend it.

Bought one lubed rail waxed strings fired it less then 10 times strings frayed...took them over a year to send me new strings. Put the new head they sent me on cocked the bow never even fired it and strings snapped..called customer service they said parts are not available they couldn't help...alot of money spent to shoot it a few times

I bought this from MidwayUSA last summer and it killed deer last fall. I live on the East Coast and zeroed at 25yds. It was easy.G5 100gr Montec broadheads on a Bloodsport Hunter 20” shaft. No issues.

This crossbow is quiet and fast. Had it assembled in 20 min and after 5 hots I had it hitting dead center at 40 yards. I sighted in at 20 yards 1 inch high and you can use the top cross hair at 30 and the second @40 yards

Great all around crossbow but the stock rattles way to much and have lost shots at deer to this. But crossbow is very accurate and scope that came with it works out good

Liked the quietness and the scope ...dislike the wobble stock and weight which is not as advertised

I really like the easy assembly. Shipping was fast and correct (I say this because I have had some shipping issues lately). I Plan to hunt White tail deer with my new purchase.
