Was Losing Hope and Suddenly They Made It... Looking Healthy and Growing!
When I first received them, I was doubtful. They took almost two weeks to arrive. Two of them were turning yellow and three of them were cut on both ends. Only one has a point. They arrived wrapped in a wet paper towel inside a damp paper bag. They were still wet, just looking stressed from being in a dark wet package for two weeks. I decided to pop them right in the soil in the pots I had prepared. A month went by, and they were still yellowish. I saw no signs of new growth. I wasn't hopeful. Then, suddenly at 7 weeks they all turned a healthy green, and I spotted a nodule forming on two of them that is now growing into a shoot. How cool is that! I have white flesh dragon fruit and people always asked me if I had red, so I was on a mission to find some. This was a great alternative after several failed attempts advertising to buy locally from other home gardeners. I can't wait for them to get bigger and fruit!

Quality Plant Cuttings
Arrived freshly cut and ready for transplanting, a few weeks after receiving plants are starting to root.

Excellent arrival shape
Growing very strong in my greenhouse so we will see this summer if it produces any fruit. So used to have over 150 bearing plants in sunny Ca. We will seen how hot Utah summers make it grow. Best protection in shipping all four here.

Not worth it. Does not grow
Did not grow. The cuttings were so expensive. I should have just bought the plant from the nursery.

Received weird, but growing wonderfully.
Received Mar. 22, '24. Cuttings looked sketchy and I was scared to try rooting them like that. So I made fresh cuts, removing all orange parts. Dried 2 weeks. Set in a jar with half inch of water. Waited for roots 2-3" long before potting. Fertilized a couple times. Now, June 5th is the last picture. They all have 8+ inches of new growth. Training up a fence post like I saw on videos from Grafting Dragon Fruit and Epic Gardening on YouTube, but without the square on top.

viable cuttings 👍🏿
took awhile to root likely from my ignorance and letting them rot, once you figure it out they take off. this is ≈2 weeks worth of new growth shown.

Healthy!
Arrived as promised. Following directions, I stuck one end (clearly marked with arrows) into the cactus soil, watered and patiently waited. I noticed one out of the four was beginning to rot. Using a new razor blade, I cut out the rotten part and let it dry out and returned it to the soil. After about a week, a small bump appeared on top of one of the biggest cutting. That bump is now growing into an arm. Arms are also growing on two more of the cuttings - including the one that started rotting! The last cutting is showing no sign of doing anything but roots are growing below. Be patient!

Item arrived PERFECT; one cutting has rooted!
Edit to add (2/2026): I've attached photos of my successful plants. Their growth has been stellar in the time I've grown them, and have begun sprouting several arms in addition to the main ones each feature. I was able to grow 3 of the 4 successfully as a beginner for this plant type. No fruit yet, but that should come in the next two or so years if I'm lucky. These plants are proven to be long-term buddies for my home. Four cuttings arrived. After my personal poor transplanting skills, one smaller cutting molded pretty quickly -- No fault of the seller. Three were potted, and so far, only a few short weeks later, the medium most sized one has rooted! The larger one is taking a bit more time, but is overall a deep green color and has been doing well. The third middle sized one has not rooted, but is still dark green and vibrant. Do your research on transplanting before buying and you will be fine. Overall, it has great rot resistance, you get your value for your money's worth, and the received item was true to size. 5/5 stars! Edit to add: The other two started rooting! I've got 100% that rooted after following proper propagation techniques. Love the product. Will buy again!
