Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a really cool clock. I use it with my bed. That numbers are easy to see and I am old enough that I know how to read the time lol! Easy to sit in the batteries last a good long time. I don’t use the alarm, but I have in the past. It is a great sound and wakes you up very easily.

Realizing that so many items now are made in China and are flimsy and cheap looking, this clock still tries to live up to the Westclox Baby Ben tradition as I remember it as a young lad many years ago. It winds, thank God. I don't need to use a battery. And it keeps time rather well with a means to adjust the loses or gains without breaking as another clock I had purchased through the military PX system (I am retired military). I was so pleased to see that Amazon sells Westclox that I purchased two of them. Wallmart,Target,Sears, and the military exchange don't sell Westclox. They all seem to carry clocks that require a battery. I like the sound of the clicking minutes and the fact that the battery doesn't have to be removed for storage until it is needed when I go out of town. Keep up your great work, Amazon. You are my number one source before I purchase anything large and or small and you always provide dependable and reliable service be it in packaging, delivery, and customer service. Over the years, I have bought many things from Amazon. This clock is a huge exception. It just doesn't work. Even with a fresh battery, it only runs for a few minutes before stopping. I inspected the inside: all wires are connected, and the battery is firmly seated. I can't return it because I've tossed the Box. I have ordered another clock and hope it works.

Good little clock and a bit louder than the quartz clocks. The alarm is still a bit soft for my bad hearing but if it is close enough I think it would wake me. The winder feels real cheap but it is keeping good time out of the box. Still a nice looking little alarm clock. Just make sure I it is ticking when you sit it down. If not just give it a little shake to start it running. Had to do this once no big deal. Just good to know. The one winder controls the clock and the alarm. No separate winder for the alarm like on the older clocks. This is a up date on this clock. With it sitting on my night stand it wakes me up just fine. Also the winder works really good . Have been using it for awhile and really like it. The only time u may have shake it back and forth to start is after adjusting the slow and fast switch. GREAT CLOCK

Perfect size - good construction; adequate noise level

The Alarm on this clock is not loud enough. I am hearing imparied I can barely hear the alarm. It's a good thing that I have dog thaat starts barking when the alarm does go off.

Nice compact alarm clock great for use at home and small enough to pack for trip should you decide to travel!

A little larger than the previous ones I owned, but they work perfectly for me.
