smart and deep insight on the subject of Saturn
I appreciate a lot the insight this book provides when it comes to Saturn influence in birthcharts. To my opinion, the author's analysis is accurate and provides psychological dept into person's psyhe and also suggest how one might consider to overcome some challenges.I like the language as well as the content of the book and I find it very uselful in my own research of natal charts with relation to Saturn placement.

amazing
Liz Greene has always been one of the best authors on astrology I have read, and with this book she does not fail to deliver. Her style of writing is in a class of its own and easy to read. I have read no better book on saturn than this one. She brings the signs alive with her stories....amazing

Saturn uncovered
Not the easiest read, but very insightful. It is on my coffee table, and I am coming back to it every now and then, re-reading the highlighted areas. If you want to make Saturn your best friend - you've got to read this book.

A Must for Every Astrologer.
For every serious student of not only astrology, but also mythology and Jungian archetypes. Preeminent astrologer Liz Greene writes with authority, insight and style. Her book on Neptune is also excellent.

As an Astrologer, I love this book.
This is a very in depth deep book and it really gets to the heart of Saturnian issues in great depth and complexity. It is a tough read and takes some effort to take it in, great to get an in depth understanding of Saturn and ultimatelyinto ones self or those around you.

As always, Liz never fails to deliver and gives her perspective which is very relative to me. I will never get tired of reading what Liz has to say and would recommend this book to die-hard Liz fans!

Beware of the superstition but there's some jewels in it
I didn't fully understood from the description of the book that I was about to jump into a bunch of superstition, mea culpa, but I go through it till the end.I was positively surprised when in the forewords and with some beautiful citations from the Enneads those autors tell us that these presents a new way of understanding of astrology, to a new way of interpriting ancient symbols and udising those as tools for self-realization and self-actualization, and in conection to ideas from Freud and Jung, they got me.At the end I truly got some beautiful iconography and metaphors, but It ended up being a bunch of superstition which I would recomend just for some ruely critical reader who will apply a disection criteria to extract some fine jewles from this writting and disscard the nonsense.I do loved the iconografy they get from Saturn: "rucial role in sandpapering us so we can become better versions of ourselves"

Great resource,
There were a couple of harsh reviews re: this book. Had it not been suggested in y course material I may not have bought it. I am soooo grateful I did. Not wanting to be a cookbook astrologer I’ve really been working on understanding the whole of aspects, signs, modes, elements..... to see the plot line in a chart. Having the ability to go into the dark areas and see the blessing, gift of a lesson I LOVE this book. I’m only on page 12 and have a deeper understanding and appreciation for the beauty of Saturn. Yes there are typos, but seriously when you have your dream car do you throw it out because it has a smudge? And if you do maybe this is just the book for you to help over come those harsh fears??? Just a thought. Thank you Liz Greene

Great book
Quite good. I would rate it 4.5/5 since it's not my favourite of Liz Greene's books, but this book definitely helps one understand the influence of Saturn, which seems to be quite underrated and not fully understood in common astrology. I learned a lot from reading this, I would recommend it. The 4 part series by Liz Greene and Howard Sasportas on Dynamics of the Unconscious, Inner Planets, Luminaries, etc. are really amazing I would recommend them first before reading this one in general... Unless you really have a big desire for a Saturn house by house, sign by sign specific analysis.
