I read the Harry Potter books many years ago, but wished they hadn't changed them for Americans. Recently, when I wanted to read them all again, I decided that I wanted to read them as they were originally written, so I came to the UK Amazon. I discovered they were about to release a new 20th Anniversary "Hogwarts House Edition," and they looked like they'd be great. I chose the Ravenclaw edition mostly because I loved the color and the way they looked, but I also thought the few extra pages about the house dedicated to learning and wisdom might be fun. I like everything about this set! It's just as gorgeous as it looked in the photos, it arrived in perfect condition, the books are a pleasure to hold and to read, and indeed the few added pages in each book about Ravenclaw have been fun to read. The few illustrations added to each book also enhance the books. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Thank you for dispatching this immense item to Japan, the opposite side of the globe. This elegant, flashy blue colour has fascinated me. I never regard these books as just books. They are indeed artworks. Should I read these? Would give it 5 stars but a couple of defects though not a big deal to me but give the price

I was hesitant to order (because the only reviews when I ordered, for this and one of the other colours, said they arrived damaged) but one had positive reviews. I wanted this one specifically so took the chance It arrived after I got to work (so I haven't seen it yet) but my mum was in to take the delivery and said it's in immaculate condition, wrapped in cellophane with no scratches or dents, so I'm pleased with it :)

All the books and the box came in perfect conditions, not a single blemish. I ordered from Costa Rica, and it arrived in four days, from UK, so extremely fast shipping. The art on the books is gorgeous. This is the perfect gift I could get for myself after a very, very difficult year.

I’ve provided a few pictures as some of you may be wondering what the hardcover editions look like without their dust jacket. A lovely set of books. I bought these books because my original HP books from the late 90s- early 2000s the text is crammed from margin to edge on each page making the reading experience not so great. The Ravenclaw hardcover edition is comfortable to hold while you’re reading for hours. The pages are a nice cream colour and nice on the eyes. The text is spaced out and I find reading this edition enjoyable. I initially was a bit disappointed because the pages are quite thin. I expected the pages to be thicker for the price you are paying for premium hardcover books. However, while reading these books I have come to like the thickness of the pages and am no longer dissatisfied. Having thick pages is just my personal preference. The hardcover itself is covered in black paper. No embossing on the cover unfortunately. The plainness of the book is still very nice. The Ravenclaw edition box is a nice touch and arrived in perfect condition. All in all I am very happy with my set. The quality of the books will last a life time of taken care for properly.

Buying theoretically a new product I expected it to be in perfect condition. But as you can see on those pictures... box is totally destroyed. Good books are okey.

J avais acheté les derniers livres en anglais et en français car je ne voulais pas attendre la traduction quand ils sont sortis. Maintenant j ai l histoire complète en anglais. C’est beaucoup mieux écrit en anglais qu en français
