Saga: Compendium One: Friendship, Identity and History in Modern Multicultural Britain

Author takes the reader on a wonderful journey through the cosmos while addressing everyday issues. There are some beautiful characters, some weird space creatures, amazing weapons, erotic sex scenes throughout the book. Hails the WOKE culture through and through. The ideas in the book are beautiful but naive in their concept and execution. A good read though. I enjoyed it and eagerly waiting for the upcoming chapters.

A universe you shouldn't Miss.

A brilliant story and I'm glad to have a physical copy of it at last. However, the book was delivered in terrible condition, with bent covers and pages and in a ripped open plastic envelope. I took it anyway, because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of a replacement. Still, it's been sturdy enough since then and I've had it for a few months. No pages falling out or spine instability or anything like that. Just be careful with it as the pages are really thin and take up oil quickly. Would be a good present for an adult who likes weirdly dark yet heartwarming comics.

It's slow and messy on the first ⅓rd part. Then it becomes something that can suck you into and never leave you free.

Deducted one star for the fact that I bought 4 volumes individually before realizing I could've got the entire thing for a third of the prize.

Bold story. Keeps you entertain all the time while reading it. But sadly there is no news for its upcoming any more issues, the story doesn't end here in compendium one.

After reading many of the reviews on here about the condition of the volume, I was a bit worried. However, it arrived in great condition. The Compendium is well worth the price, although I recommend not reading it over a balcony, less you accidentally drop it and kill someone.

The media could not be loaded.  My first comic book, and I can't be more happy with my choice. Delivery was super fast too.

I had read volume 1 and wanted to read further but felt that the individual volumes was expensive. I saw this in a bookstore and decided to pick up the ebook version which was more reasonably priced for 9 volumes!Wow, this kept me on my toes, flipping the pages and wanting more. It is fantasy, sci-fi and historical, star-crossed lovers, war and how having a family and working on a marriage isn't easy. There was something grounded about the characters, their situation and how grey they were. They made mistakes, lied, betrayed or did silly things but at times, there were these bright moments of happiness, empathy and love that shone through. I liked the found family vibes and some of these characters stole my heart. But be aware that this is explicit in violence, nudity, sex and killing. There are alot of trigger warnings too.
