Olde Thompson Plated Pepper Mill & Salt Shaker Set, 7", Copper

I have had an Olde Thompson grinder at our cabin for decades and wanted a set for our house as our old grinder gave up the ghost. I ordered this set and am pleased that Olde Thompson have not changed the quality of their product over the decades. The grind mechanism is not plastic, but is made of ceramic and is smooth and consistent. You can adjust the grind size by the cap screw. They look nice as well. I hope the copper will stay intact, but only time will show how that wears.

Bien Reçu,très jolie mais malheureusement ils s’étaient pas en bonne état, il avait quelques Traces et des rayures en noir pour la saliaire mais bon pour le prix et la qualité je trouve que c’est un peu cher.

(New set left and Old set right side) Purchased this set probably 7 years ago and am replacing after the pepper grinder called it quits. Normal use of using it every other day since purchasing new. Product has been great and beautiful but it does tarnish over time see the right side pair which was the original pair. The pepper really tarnished on the bottom. The pepper grinder also shattered on the inside? I’m assuming from the peppercorns being ground over time. Otherwise they’ve held up really well. Looking forward to the new set. Note this was not replaced from their lifetime guarantee policy.
