Digitek Platinum Replacement Battery for Hero 5/6/7 Compatible with Hero-5, Hero-6, Hero-7, Hero-2018 Capacity 1250mAh

I am a gopro hero 7 black user since 2020. I had total 3 original gopro batteries. Two came with gopro box and one came with original gopro charger which I bought saperately. I used to do lots of outdoor shootings in warm and humid weather. Most of the times I used to shoot with 1080p 30fps settings. All of the the original batteries had camera restart issue after 10 to 16 mins continuous shooting in the 30 fps settings. 60 fps drains the battery faster even though I used to keep gps, wifi etc turned off during shooting, only voice command, beep sound and leds are turned on during shooting. Ok keep Screen brightness moderately low around 40% and screen turns off automatically after 5 mins, but the original batteries performance was far from satisfaction. I have DJI osmo and cason action camera for more than a year but I never faced any issues related to battery. From the mid of 2021 all 3 of my gopro batteries performance started to detoriate and sometimes they simply refused to start the camera. I noticed all the gopro batteries developed some kind of bulge and those looks swalloen and I immediately stopped using those batteries and started to use power bank since end of 2021. In my opinion Gopro with power bank works best and I never faced issues during long clips like time lapse. But using an action camera with power bank is not convenient in all situations. Back in 2021 I bought a Digitek battery for my Canon DSLR and it still works fine. From that confidence I made this purchase and it did not let me down. Used it twice for outdoor shootings in hot and humid weather, gopro never restarted automatically even at lowest charge. Did more than 60 mins shooting session in 1080p 30fps with 5% charge remaining and again did another 37 min shooting sessions with 25% charge remaining. Good product , recommended. PS: Never store battery with 100% charge. Store it with approx 30 to 40% charge for longer life of battery. If you live in humid weather then use dry box to store electronic gadgets and batteries when not in use for long time to avoid fungus and oxidation. Last but not least this Digitek battery works with original gopro charger. Like me if you already have an original gopro charger then no need to buy one for this.

Original.battery is too costly, but unfortunately less durable and low quality, hence not worth the high price. Tried this product and is satisfied, although recording duration is lesser in comparison and durability is yet to be learnt. However, it met my requirements. Will take more.

I bought it for my gopro hero 7 initially it worked but after 1 month rarely usage, not charging properly, now its 3 month completely dead, shows no battery in my gopro . I am disappointed with this product

I have purchased two of them but my one camera doesn't recognise it. other works well, but don't know the reason. One if them only works with original GoPro battery . Battery life after charging is ok

Good product considering the price, the original GoPro battery costs above 2000, i bought it for 993 rs and it's totally worth. Battery backup is not good as original one but it can run upto 45 mins in 1080p 60 fps, the original G8 black one lasts for 1hour & 15 mins, and most importantly you got no remainder of using third party battery from the camera. Well optimised battery 🔋. Overall I'll give it 4 stars.

Battery is good and fits perfectly. Battery stamina is alright and best for timelapse or photo mode. In video mode the battery will drain quickly if compared to a original GoPro battery. For the price it's best. Recommended

Worst case don't purchase it's a time and money wastage of both. I was trying to use it with go pro 8 hero but, still it is not working and my gpro is not starting with this battery. I purchased it 2-3 days before when going on a trek. First time I used it with gopro 8 but, only worked for 15 mins after that till now it is not working. Not a value for money and no use of purchasing it. I will try to purchase telesin or any other trusted brand.
