OTC(7503) Tie Rod/inner bearing race puller Remover

I have purchased several tie rod end and ball joint separator's over the years. All either do not fit all applications, brake, or destroy the boots. I finally splurged and paid a little extra for this tool. Has Works perfect every time. On my larger vehicles I racket down to apply pressure some and shock the joint to pop it to avoid being stupid and braking a good tool. On smaller vehicles I have no fear letting the tool pop the taper. To think all the parts i ruined with pickle forks.......

This popped loose a stubborn tie rod end with a lot of pressure and a BFH. The tip of the bolt got bent and damaged in the process. Could be a little more durable.

This is one of my better/best tools in the battle box. I always exercise a little a trepidation when it comes to hammering on knuckles especially if they are aluminum and sometimes hammering simply doesn't work, which is why I have pullers.I have used this tool on lower ball joints, tie rods with LONG stem, drag link tie rods that would never come out not matter how much hammering is done on it.Not sure what I'll do if the OTC tool breaks. Do I get another one under warranty?Anyway, I'll call it now: ESSENTIAL TOOL!

Works flawlessly and quickly! Other tools broke while wasting nearly 2hrs, this took 15 seconds!

I use it no problem for me but I purchase warranty when I saw the rest of the review. ( not much money anyway )

If you want to remove an outer tie rod end from the steering knuckle . . . without damaging the boot . . . this is THE tool to get. I've used it for years without damaging the tool or the tie rod end boot. A word to the wise . . . apply some anti-seize to the threads.

I have other OTC tools that have been good to me but this one missed the mark. It has been only used a few times and the tips of the jaws are rolling over and bending. I contacted OTC but they will not warranty because it was bought here. I am still within the window to return on Amazon so that is what is happening. Disappointed and moving on.

Excellent tie rod puller! Used it on a jaguar xj40. The outer tie rod end popped out of the steering knuckle safely. Had tried 2 other pullers, which both failed miserably. Just make sure the threads on the puller are well coated with copper grease or wd-40 before using. And tighten slowly with a 5/8” wrench, not a socket.

Herramienta muy util para sacar la pista de los rodamientos que quedan en el eje, la compre porque la misma venia en un kit pero por usarla para algo no debia se partio, por eso la estoy comprando por separado para reemplazar la dañada por mal uso

Worth its weight in gold!! Specially if you want to save the ball joint or tie rod end.

this is good item.made in taiwan but it does job
