I use these to embellish the tops of hand painted ornaments I make. They are perfect size

I purchased the "baby" selection of buttons which has both baby boy and baby girl items. Generally, I would say that about 1/3 of the buttons are cute and useful. If you look at my picture, the top two rows are usable. (There is a 5 inch index card for comparison) The second two rows are tiny, and not useful for my quilt project - certainly choking hazards. Among these there are tiny clear pacifiers that are NOT buttons - no holes. The lower 2 rows are letters. I got BYY (can't spell baby) and for the square ones CCCAA (spells nothing useful). So I will get some use of this package, but not much.

Ordered these buttons. They looked adorable, but need some particular in the pack. But, the pack is just a sampling of what can come. I didn't get the pieces I needed. Contacted customer service. They were unable to send what I needed. Very disappointing and a waste of my time.

I was so disappointed. There were broken buttons, some so small they weren’t safe to use on a baby gift, and very few matched what was pictured. (Hand shown for size)

I ordered the 50-Value Pack Baby Buttons. First off, the package I received came with 125 buttons. But, to call them "baby" buttons was a stretch. The package says from 3/8 to 1 inch sized buttons. I received ONE "button" that measured just under 1 inch. It was a plastic accent piece that said "Baby Boy". The vast majority of the buttons in this pack fall between the 1/8 and 1/4 marks on the ruler. They are the size of pin heads. Here is the breakdown of what I received: 12 Pink Buttons (5 were see through-barely pink, 4 ultra tiny) 2 Army Green Buttons, 2 Yellow Buttons, 2 Mint Green Buttons, 1 Bright Orange Button, 2 Bright Purple Buttons, 33 Blue Buttons (17 were see through-barely blue, 16 ultra tiny), 71 WHITE/OFF WHITE Buttons (21 of those were actually clear, 40 ultra tiny). I know there is always a risk in buying a bulk or value pack, but this has definitely taught me a lesson. My advice is to save your money and invest in individual packs of each baby color you need. This package was almost all white buttons, too small to use. It will cost more money, but you will get what you need. Even with getting a bigger package of 125, I only have 8 useable buttons. The rest has already been thrown out.

I am familiar with Buttons Galore products having purchased other items through Amazon, as well as the Buttons Galore website. I was disappointed with this particular assortment of buttons. Many items had no shanks for sewing making most of the "buttons" unusable for my purposes. I am mystified that flat back items are often included in button assortments. It is impossible to sew this type of item onto anything. I paid a lot of money for the 10 or 12 buttons that are useable.
