An Interesting Reframing of ''Connecting the Dots''
The concept here is definitely not new. I view this as different way of looking a ''connecting the dots'' or finding processes that allow you achieve more quickly what normally would take a longer period of time. But where I see its value is in re-framing implementation of innovative ideas in any endeavor as a ''time travel.'' For me, it has made me more conscious how you have a choice of either taking a long time to attain wealth or whatever makes you happy, or taking an unconventional risky approach to greatly accelerate the arrival at that destination.Another way to put it is that my goals and strategies my business endeavors remain the same. But this book has succeeded in adding a different perspective. But when I got to the end of the book, I just didn't find it earthshatteringly great.

I love the concept
This book provides an extremely interesting perspective, looking at time as distance. Then it takes the idea even further and suggests finding ways to jump through wormholes to get more out of life. Although it can feel a bit abstract at times, I love the concept. I think because of the abstractness I've had trouble describing the idea to a few different people recently but that doesn't decrease my interest in the book.I actually read it first a few months back but a few weeks ago I started through it a second time. The first time I just read it and took a few notes about things I could do in my life or things I've found interesting. It was more of a high level, though provoking book to me at the time. This time, I'm going through specifically asking myself some questions on ways I can apply some of the ideas in the book. My plan is to setup triggers and routines that will allow me to integrate some of the principles in my day-to-day life. One of the quotes that to me sums up the purpose of the book is that "the compression of time is not a matter of compounding activities, but the compounding of meaning". For me, when I sometimes think about getting more done, I try to do 100 things and none of them get done well (or at all). Instead of trying to do those things, if we pick the things that matter and focus on those we can get the most meaning out of the activities we do spend our time on. We can improve the relative velocity toward our end goals and if we do things right actually slow down the way in which we are experiencing time.

Outside-the-box philosophy for living an outside-the-box life
This book is absolutely amazing. I came across it through Ben's post on Medium: "50 Ways Happier, Healthier, And More Successful People Live On Their Own Terms." I came across that article randomly, and after finishing it I immediately showed it to my girlfriend. I honestly believe it is the best article that I have ever read, and I had no idea who had written it until I was finished reading. There was a link to Ben's book at the bottom of the article, hence my reading his book and writing this review.I am in a transition right now in my life, and am struggling to truly break out of conventions and 100% commit to shaping my own reality. I have lived somewhat unconventionally for several years now, but I find it very easy to slip back into conformism. Ben presents great life philosophies in a really outside-the-box format, which I think is a great way to discuss living an outside-the-box life. I just finished reading this book this morning, and I will begin rereading it soon. You have to trust yourself and view things differently from others. Unfortunately I don't think I can do this book justice in my review, so whether you want to change your life or are just curious to learn about a unique life perspective, I encourage you to check it out for yourself.

Not bad
It has some familiar concepts repackaged and presented from a different perspective. Aside from the interesting slipstream perspective, the rest is nothing new.

This book opened up ways of looking at my life differently
Fascinating! This book was unexpected. I thought I would read the same ideas I had in other time saving books. It was different because some of the actionable ideas were completely new. The concepts were already defined for me in other areas of my life, but they were presented in a totally different context. I'm excited to try them out. I hope you will read this book and have a similar experience as I have. I recommend this book.

Such perspective
I'm at a stage in my life now where I'm actively trying to alter my activities, thoughts, beliefs and goals. This is the first book that came into my life to get me on that path. I love the concept of Slipstream and slowing time. It's attainable for everyone and it's a matter of believing it's possible, being mindful of the around you or just going after it yourself. I will be applying many principles from this book. Mr. Hardy is the next big thing in Self-help and Life guidance writing.

YES!!! Time Hacking is Real if you Believe it!
The book title caught my attention because, I am a vicious time hacker.I have, and this book only reinforces, hacked time at various time at all levels.Just like the author, I am not supposed to be where I am and doing what I do.But hacking time and slipstream plus the Wind of The Spirit of God have brought me this far.The depth of spiritual-faith insight of the author is, what made me pick up the book and read it all in two sessions. If you can believe what Ben shares, you can also experience the same and even more."Dr.O"
