It sounds different then the stock starter from my 94 Z28.. It was also a bit smaller. All in all Ive got no complaints. At this point one month after installing it I'd buy it again.Ok well after a little more then a year and this started is done. It's teeth are broke or something..When I try to start my 94 Z28 it makes a terrible sound. Grinding and clunking. So I'm now in the market for a new starter. I I just bought OEM to begin with.. I guess this is what happens when I try to save a few dollars. I highly doubt it's under warranty so yeah I'll be buying a new starter I would not recommend this starter at all I drive my Camaro on the weekends only if that. So I made me got a couple100 starts. The original starter lasted like 20 something years so yeah I would not recommend this Not at all..

I replaced the starter on my '94 Chevy Caprice Classic LS with the LT1 engine. It fit perfectly, and starts the car fine. Time will tell whether this $62 dollar starter holds up as well as the $180 one the parts stores sell.

Fit my 93 Trans Am with the LT1 motor great. Like the other review said, the stock bolts will be a little long but throw on some washers and enjoy.

Seems to work fine but I needed two thick washers with each OEM bolt to accommodate the shorter mounting flange dimension.

This is a great new starter for my TA. No problems installing it, engine fires right up, considering local parts houses want twice as much a great deal.
