Shindaiwa P021032702 Guard Assembly

It was exactly as described and went in and has saved a lot of time and effort

Fits as promised

This shield cuts off the outer 1" of string (4" total) on my T-270 it lists for. This outer string has the fastest speed and efficiency of the machine. There's no way to adjust the collar to extend the string (strike 2). The span of the shield is also shorter than the original T-270 shield which I now more regrettably wish I hadn't broken (strike 3). It should never have been listed for a T-270 because there's more to simply fitting the shaft that makes it appropriate.

While I was able to fit the guard on my shindaiwa T242, the guard is smaller in circumference than the original. It does come with new pieces to attach, but the string is will be cut shorter. I haven't used it yet, but am sure it will work fine. It appears a little thicker than the original

Easy to install. Little prices, I thought. But it works. Had to have it. After 20 years, my old one bit the dust.

Fit my shindaiwa T350 like a charm this beast has been running like a champ for 20 years. Glad I found this guard assembly. 👊👊
