My father recently had his leg amputated and he's living with me while he recuperates. However he's 91 and cell phones and even house phones are Beyond his abilities. He sleeps in a downstairs bedroom and I sleep upstairs wirh a fan, so I can't hear him call out for me in the middle of the night when he needs help. I saw this and took a chance. It has worked like a charm. With two call buttons and two receivers, it gives you a backup. I placed one of the intercom receivers in my bedroom, and I placed the other one on the other end of the upstairs. No matter where I'm at upstairs, awake or asleep, even with a fan going, I can hear him when he needs me. The default sound is like a loud doorbell, but there are other options. And it's loud enough that the 3:30 a.m. call will wake me up reliably so that I can get downstairs to help him. With a one-time purchase price that's less than the monthly fee of some other systems, I highly recommend this system. It's been a lifesaver.

I had a brain tumor and fall a couple of times a week. My physical therapist recommended a device like this, to alert my 2 roommates when I lose my balance and come crashing down. You can choose the alert sound - we have Moonlight Sonata - and just wearing it has reminded me to be extra careful. The only negative thing I have to say is that the call button is quite sensitive, but I put a piece of Scotch Tape over the button to prevent false alarms! With a 500 foot radius,it covers our whole house and yard.

This works great ! My 92 year old mother still tries to be very active.She falls and can’t get up . Now all she has to do is push the button and the sound of a door bell goes off. I am hard of hearing myself but this is definitely loud enough for me and anyone in the household. It has a great range . I would totally recommend this device. Also very simple to use and very inexpensive but a great choice

It is a blessing for me. Because of poor health, I have a tendency to lose balance and fall. I have an alarm station in three rooms that will alert my wife in case I fall. Just simply press the button and she is alerted to my fall. Great device. Well worth the small investment. Totally recommend it.The only reason I give it 4 stars and not five is that when wearing around the neck, I find it annoying that it turns to the wrong direction where the button faces your chest. A small annoyance for most, but a big one for me. Still, like I mentioned, well worth the cost.

Ordered this for grandmother after she had a fall in her home and had difficulty alerting the other members of the household. She fell again a few weeks ago and hit her head. She told me this alarm saved her life. She was wearing the lanyard (apparently she always has it on) and was able to use it to wake up the family. She was downstairs and said she could hear the alarm going off upstairs which is impressive because her hearing isn't great.Absolutely recommend!

This product works and I would recommend it to anyone who lives alone or sleeps alone. Its a very useful product especially for the elderly or sick . The sound quality is good and can really be heard to wake up the other person in case you have emergency.

Good product. Has a very loud setting if needed. I was worried the alert would not be loud enough but the volume goes high if needed. Very easy set up and easy to use.
