NIV, The Story, Hardcover, Comfort Print: The Bible as One Continuing Story of God and His People

I love the way books looks. It looks like a regular story book. You can freely take it anywhere and not feel uncomfortable taking it out to enjoy reading it in public or make others feel uncomfortable. Not that you should try to hide. It's just living in this world as loving neighbors. ❤️I LOVE the overview of the whole Bible. Since it is almost all words are actual NIV translation of scriptures, this is my my 3rd time reading it through as my daily quiet in Word. Last time I read through entire Bible, it took a whole year and lots of discipline...I am having so much sweet times with the LORD daily now. Recommend this for everyone, youth, children, adult, seniors. I love the large print.

Excellent book! I have a better understanding of some of the stories of the Bible and I’m now able to dive into the real Bible itself without feeling overwhelmed. Excellent tool to get started. I learned so much!

I have read many versions of the Bible. This is the most enjoyable format as it omits the unnecessary names and dates which are of no consequence to today’s Christian. Go Ahead, read The Story and be blessed.

It's the Bible, simplified and abridged. It's a third of the size of the actual Bible so you save lots of time but also all of the literary value of the Bible is lost if I am being honest. For secular readers, like me, the literary value of Bible is all there is to it and the NIV is just not a very elegant translation and a simplified version of that it even less engaging. If you want a literary Bible then I'd recommend getting a complete version of the KJV or NKJV translation, or possibly RSV-CE or the newer NRSV and even the venerable Douay-Rheims Bible would be a great choice. This is nonetheless is a very good book for those who want to get familiar with the Bible and its main content.

Love this chronological adaptation of the Bible. Love that it was offered at such a great price. I ordered copies for all my adult kids.

Very easy read. I recommend this book to a beginner, that just started reading Bible!
