I forgot our electrolyte pills when we were going to do a week long bike ride. I was able to order these and get them delivered before we left on our ride. I am VERY happy I did. The first day was really hot and I am glad I had these and electrolytes in one of my water bottles. My husband has been known to get leg cramps on long rides so it was important that we have these. No leg cramps during the ride! We started taking one before the ride and one after the ride (50-60 miles each day with climbing) and we were able to do the 6 rides. Highly recommend. (Note: I bought another and we took one of them in the AM and the other in the PM)

Very good salts for recovering an exhausted body.

I keep GU roctane in my water pack and I am out hiking when it hot and humid. Used the product once when I was out hiking and I feel it help out. Satisfied with the product and will keep using it as needed.

While I'm very active, I love my long runs and hikes, and my heart rate goes crazy high, I barely sweat even in summer; so I never felt the need of electrolytes. But I was advised by a trainer to try to use electrolytes nonetheless, since the strenuous effort still affects my body. I took one capsule of the GU Roctane Electrolyte before regular training (HIIT, crossfit, strength training), and one capsule before and one after for hikes and 10km runs. I noticed some small effects on recovery and muscle cramps, but nothing too impressive; but I'm also due diligent with my recovery stretching. As a supplement, I like the addition of vitamin D, vitamin B6 and magnesium, great for an active female like me. The values for a single capsule are quite low, still. The biggest results I got with these capsules are with nausea and gastric/stomach distress. No matter if I train/run/hike faster or after a meal, I tend to have an upset stomach sometimes. The ginger helps a lot. The capsules are normal size, they're easy to swallow for me.

As I have gotten very close to retirement age, I have found that it's easy to get leg cramps at night if I slightly overdo it when cycling. But when I take these, I don't get them. So not only do they help on long bike rides, but they also help me enjoy my sleep after that bike ride. So now they are part of my pre, during, and post ride regimes.

As an older age (age60) endurance athlete: Ironman, Mountain Ultra runs, I recently discovered salt tablets. It’s an amazing performance enhancer. I wish I’d discovered this product years ago. I just figured I didn’t need it, boy was I wrong. It’s a game changer. I use other GU products, so choosing their salt electrolytes tablets was an easy choice. I highly recommend.

Excelente, hago alta montaña y antes me daban muchos calambres por la falta de electrolitos, aunque llevara mi electrolito, ahora con las pastillas ya no me dan y hasta energia me proporcionan, ya no hago ejercicio sin ellas.
