Q: What would the best type of rod to use with this reel?

I have mine paired with the Kastking Krome Alaska King Drifter rod 9'-0". The type and size of rod to put yours on would depend upon the type of fish you are targeting, and your intended way of fishing for them.

Q: Does it come without a bait clicker

It has a recessed (on &off) switch on the forward end of the palm side cover. Nice placement in my opinion! Positive click so no mistake engagements. Strong loud clicker, easily heard and strong enough to prevent backlash if a fish strikes hard.

Q: So with the high end drag can this reel be used for musky & cats?

HI Tyler, Yes. This reel can definitely handle musky and catfish.

Q: Hi is the lineguide supose to move back and forth when you cast on this one? Seems like i keep birds nesting becasue of it ?

No it does not move back-and-forth. You need to control the settings, on the right hand side of the real, the smaller knob. What you wanted to do is when the casting button is pushed down, the line should just barely roll down by itself. If the line rolls faster then it will cause birds nest. I cast this real a long way. It is my favorite real and I use it for catching alligators.
