Yes, this is an excellent oil and I've use it for decades on both of my vehicles. However. No matter how good the oil is that you put in your engine, if you base your oil change intervals on what it says on the container (in this case 15,000 miles) you will destroy your engine. Change your oil every 5,000 miles or twice per year, which ever comes first. That's it. Oil changes are inexpensive, your engine is not. I just completed a top-end restoration on my 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 6.0 that has had its oil changed as stated above for 23 years. When the valve covers came off, the mechanic doing the work said, "I've never seen rockers this clean."

The Castrol EDGE High Mileage 5W-30 Advanced Full Synthetic Motor Oil in 1 Quart bottles is reputed to be some of the finest oil. I am using the in my briggs and stratton lawn mower engine as the 5w-30 weight is recommended for my particular engine. I have used this exact type and weight before and it has performed admirably for my purpose. Would definitely recommend it.

It’s oil that’s about all I can say. It was also the best price available.

I recently discovered I need to replace my engine gasket due to a leak. I can’t afford that right now so having jug of oil on hand keeps me worry free for the moment until I can fix the problem.

I've had this in 5 different trucks. My 3500 dually had almost 1 mill miles on it before I traded it in. Highly recommend this.
