All I can say is WOW! I'm not new to using laser measuring tools and have found them to be very useful and time-saving. However, this particular one is so much better than anything I've used before. Most importantly (for me) is the amazingly large, bright, and clear screen! The numbers are large, bold, clear, and super easy to read. This thing is night and day better than the one I was using, which just has small rows of numbers on an LCD display. That one can also display the measurements in multiple ways, just like this one, however, the only one I could really see well was displaying in inches, as the fraction display was so small. On the Bosch, that's not an issue. All modes are easy to read, including feet, inches, and fraction. You can change not only the unit, but also the way it's displayed, for example, you can have the result displayed just like on a tape. I like the inch and fraction mode the best though. The contrast in the display is really amazing; blacks are super black, and whites and colors are bright and vibrant. The numbers are also easy to read, even at an angle. One thing I noticed is that whatever unit display mode you select, if you then select the tape display option, it will display on the tape view based on the unit display you selected. For example, if you choose feet, inches, and fraction, the tape will start the inches over at 1 for each foot, but if you select inches and fraction, it will display like most tapes do, where the inches continue to increment. I actually really like that view a lot, as it is very familiar. Also, the green laser dot is so bright and easy to see, even in bright light. I never had too much of an issue with my red ones, but the green is definitely much better. The other thing I love about this one is that continuous measuring is the default, so you don't have to press and hold a button to enable and disable it. Press measure once to start measuring and it's in continuous mode, press again to lock in the reading. Quick and simple. Other than that, the unit runs on two AA batteries, which are included. The manual and some reviews indicate it can also be charged via USB-C but I don't think that's the case. Also, the manual references it having a digital bubble level, which it also does not appear to have. I'm thinking it must be differences in the various models that are all referenced in this manual. I think it must be the GLM165-27CGL that has both the digital level and the rechargeable battery. I would have liked having the level built in, but guess it's not a deal breaker. That model is about $50 more, so if you want those features, it may be worth the extra price.

this thing is awesome. I have used a Leica high dollar unit which was great, but this one can measure while you move it, so if you need to spark a specific distance, it will keep track. Easy to read digits, nice backlight.

This Bosch green laser is quite useful both inside and outside measuring length. Accuracy seems to be spot on my use. The number of options in how to read and the type of measurements are more than plenty for me. A little pricey but seems to be worth the cost. I dropped it a few times without any effects. Bought to mainly install LED ceiling lights but is handy.

This Bosch laser measure is a game-changer. It’s super accurate, quick, and way easier than using a tape measure. The screen is bright, the size is pocket-friendly, and it stores recent measurements automatically. Perfect for home projects or work, definitely recommend

LOVE THIS TOOL. I work around a lot of mud, and this tool has saved me likely upwards of 20 tape measurers that get ruined with mud. I test it every so often to make sure it's calibrated properly and it's always been right on the dot. Super convenient and easy to use. Very long battery life. Rugged enough to stand up to work conditions. Does not work great around water as the laser can't get a proper reading due to the reflection, but other than that it has been invaluable.

Used this handy tool for various projects around the garage including upcoming insulation and drywall estimating. This was my first time using an electronic device, but it was pretty easy to figure out. I wish the instructions went more into detail about some of the more abstract measurement modes, but I suppose if I were a professional, I should already know how to use those. This works really well from what I can tell. Great for keeping in the toolbox.

This thing is packed with a lot of cool features, ive used it repeatedly to measure out lengths of expensive cables or tray. I always fully trust it to be accurate and it hasn't failed me yet. It has the ability to change measurement units on the fly and updates the current value in real time, it also has a saved memory feature so you can quickly look back at past measurements if you forgot to write it down or if you wanted to confirm. it also has a neat indirect height mode where you can measure the bottom and top of an object from a distance and it solves for height using Pythagorean theorem.
