Man has technology has come a long way in just a decade or so...For the last 4-5 years I've been putting up with a buggy old first gen Blink charger that was part of a promotional from GM back when I bought my in 2011 Volt. The Blink was always a little buggy with it needing a reboot on occasion but in the last handful of years it was failing to the point I had to reboot it just about everyday for it to charge.Enter this Lectron...this thing is a small but mighty little guy and it just works...every time I plug in.Where the Blink was a huge box on my wall, the Lectron is a small shoe box sized box unit that looks nice and sleek on my wall. The Lectron's display provides much more useful information versus the Blink as well.So far It's been a great unit and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unit in this power class.One tip: if you find the connection between the Lectron's charge cord plug and your car's charge port is very tight(almost too tight) when your plugging it into your car...use some dry-lube (made by wd-40, pb blaster,etc) on the black plastic outer sleeve around the plug. That helped mine as the fit was so tight I was afraid of breaking my car's charge port. For safety...just be sure to unplug everything before you apply lubricant and do not get any lubricant inside the actual power connection pins...you just want a bit of lubricant where there is black plastic to plastic contact.

Good product so far after 30 days. Reduced my charging time on a 30 mile battery(phev) by 70%

Will not charge more then 12a on volt or bolt as it is advertised.....same as the stock 110v charger that came with car.

I had the worst experience with company.I bought this charging station in April of 2022. By May of 2023 - 13 months later - it was broken.The warranty was for 1 year so when I contacted customer support they told me there is nothing they can do and did not stand by the product.I'm now buying a Telsa charger because it's a company I can trust.I don't care if you are saving a little money. Avoid Lectron at all costs!

It's a product as described, ready to be used as I said, plug-n-play. Out of the box you just need to remove 4 rubber screw covers, unscrew the wall plate, drill the holes, screw the wall plate in, mount the charger and screw it again to the wall plate, and put back the rubber screw covers. Drill holes for the charger nose holder and for the wire holder and you're set. Provided you already have the 220v line available by the place you put the charger. Many houses already have a 220v line (electric dryer, a/c, etc) otherwise, you'll need an electrician to update your electric panel and run the line.

From zero to hero in under 5 hours for my 2018 Kia Soul. Easy to install and long power cord makes this the best for your buck. Who needs an app anywho. Plug it in, press the button and walk away.The enclosure is weather hardened and it comes with a hook for the able and socket for the connector. The price is way better than the other ripoffs.Charge ends safely at 100%.Love the little info screen and the green led power button. My kids love plugging it in. Would buy and recommend again
