I was surprised how lightweight the set is it’s super easy to carry and handle, which makes serving tea a breeze. All in all this tea set balances beauty and practicality quite well and while I wish the sizing were a bit more in line with my expectations, it’s a lovely. the teapot is a little larger than I expected. This isn’t a major drawback, but I did originally picture something a bit more compact. On the flip side, the cups are on the smaller side—again, not a deal-breaker, but worth mentioning if you’re expecting something a bit more substantial. Despite these minor quirks, I’ve found the whole set to be very durable. I’ve put it through the dishwasher several times now, and it still looks flawless, which is a big plus for everyday convenience.

This is a beautiful set that looks great on display, but I feel comfortable using. There were no chips or defects with the paint. I love the size of the teapot and tea cups. Everything was packaged securely and was easy to unpack.

This set is so beautiful. The colors are so vibrant. The quality of the set is exceptional. The tea pot is the perfect size and so durable. I feel the price I paid for this set is reasonable. I cannot wait to serve tea during this Christmas Holiday. Highly recommend this vendor. I should mention that the shipping materials showed great care was taken. I promise this set will not disappoint.

Overall, this is a GORGEOUS set and especially nice as a display piece, although I do also love using it for my higher-end teas and holiday tea parties. It is also highly giftable as is comes in a fairly nice box (although mine was also scuffed quite a bit) with above-average packing. Each piece is individually wrapped in a plastich slip and stored in a sturdy styrofoam with a sort-of-felt topping. This makes it very easy to remove/store each piece and not get that irritating styrofoam squeeking or bits of it flaking off. The pattern is what really shines and draws attention. Of note, is parts of the design are actually textured, which is a niece touch. I also liked most of the design of the teapot as it holds a fair amount more than other pots I had found online or in stores like Home Goods. Also, it is designed in such a way that it has minimal dripping after pouring tea. The handle is also large enough for a good grip. The "filter" holes were a little misaligned (one also chipped) on my pot but they still did a decent job keeping out most tea leaves and keeping pouring at a good rate that prevents spills. The only downside, really, was the lid was really small for the size of the top of the pot. So, it rattles and slides around A LOT. I would still absolutely hold onto it while pouring. Also, I want to point out that, despite not being mentioned in the item description, this set DOES come with the 4 teaspoons as shown in the photos (at least, as of July, 2022). That was a definite plus. My only other complaints are that I wish the cups were a bit bigger, especially the handles. They aren't bad to hold, but you may need to adapt to how to hold them. The little curved bit on the inside of the handle prevents being able to fit most of a finger through the handle. Other than that, there were several blemishes on the pieces, but not in ways that were very noticeable or would detract much from the design. Most were just minor scuffs and paint drops that were there prior to the glazing. The largest blemish was actually on the gold paint on the teapot handle and was the only one that could be distracting once you notice it. I mean, I guess you can't really complain too much for such issues on something that is mass produced, but still, given the price, it is still a bit of a letdown. Be sure to give each piece a thorough hand-washing once unpacking. This helped me discover all the little blemishes (in case your mileage varies with some more noticeable ones), but also, the metallic gold paint is a bit "gummy" or "filmy" when you first touch it. After thoroughly washing with hot soap and water, this feeling went away. Also, I do really wish the set also came with the matching sugar bowl and creamer shown in one of the photos so we could get a complete set. As it is, I couldn't really find two of these pieces on Amazon that fit well with the rest of this set... Still, this is, once again, a very visually-pleasing and useable tea set and I am glad I got it.

Absolutely love the look of this set! It’s also packaged very nicely both for storage and if you were to give as a gift. Pieces have a perfect weight to them, delicate yet indicative of quality china.

My 6 yr old granddaughter picked this out for her mom for Mother Day. Since they are going out of town for the weekend, my granddaughter wanted to give the gift to her early… so she did! And to say the pictures do the tea set no justice is the truth. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. She was extremely excited and proud her daughter put so much thoughtfulness into this (her mom collects tea sets and they have tea parties). Her mom actually ordered the serving try separately! Anyways… it is a great tea set and will be used for generations. I would love to buy the sugar bowl but it doesn’t seem it can be ordered separately (we purchased the service for 4).

This tea set came well packed in its box. The pieces are much prettier than the pictures. This is a gift so the set has not been used yet, but how can you go wrong with bone china? Very beautiful.
