Solid option
Figured this deserved a review after a month of hard use. My daughter is constantly riding her peg perego gator that i converted to ryobi batteries with a 13.9v buck converter. She drains this one and a factory ryobi 9ah daily. No obvious difference between the two: they last equally long. I’m impressed.

Great price/works great
Works as good as the name brand one at a fraction of the cost. First one would not charge the company sent out a replacement before they received the defective one. Replacement works great! Will definitely buy again.

Only charges to 50% to life of original Ryobi battery. UPDATE
I can blow my entire pool area with Ryobi brand twice. I blew the same area with this battery once, and it failed. Need I say more? Be sure to test your battery immediately so that you can return it. I did not and am stuck with it.-------UPDATE—The seller read my review and promptly replaced the first one. Based on that, I updated from 3 to 5 stars. I plan to update this review again in three months to address the quality of the replacement.

As good as the real thing
These are good battery replacements for the real thing and cost effective. My Ryobi 4.0AH batteries were beginning to age (I thought) so I increased my stock of them with two of these. They are near identical physically.Although they claimed to be 6.0Ah, after using them a few times I finally connected them to my battery capacity tester. They start off with 19.5v, which is the same starting voltage as my other Ryobi batteries and my Dewalt 20v batteries. I guess its all in the marketing as to what voltage they claim.I set an end test voltage of 16.0v on my capacity tester, and a current draw of 1A. Most tool batteries get hit pretty hard for power demand, so 1A is a relatively low current draw versus how they actually get used. It is know physics that the capacity of a battery actually drops off at higher current loads, so this was a 'kind' test.Having fully charged a battery, I attached it to the capacity tester, and every battery read ~ 19.5v as a starting voltage. Turning on the tester, it drawers 1A, and monitors the battery voltage and the elapsed time. The battery voltage of lithium technology remains pretty stable for most of it's discharge cycle, and drops off rapidly when it is almost fully discharged. I set up the tester to end the test when the battery voltage dropped to 16.0v, where you can then take the reading of the Amp-Hours capacity of the battery under test.I first tested two of my Ryobi batteries that are quite well used. One showed an Amp-Hour capacity of 3.2. The second achieved 3.5Ah. Ryobi claim these are 4.0Ah batteries, and they may have been when they were new.I then tested these 6.0Ah batteries, and one to be 3.2Ah and the second to be 3.1Ah. They had only been cycled a few times in tools, so I was expecting close to the 6.0Ah claim. The ones I received do not meet a 6.0Ah rating, in fact they are only just over 50% of the claim. However, they are the same physical size of my 4.0Ah Ryobi batteries, so I would say they are nearly as good as the original product. Not better, but as good, so I am quite happy to recommend them. Just don't expect they will last longer in the tool you use them in.

Great battery
Works very well.

Leaking batteries!
The batteries look decent and seemed to work ok for a few times but soon started losing their charge and do not last more than 3-5 minutes even when fully charged.

works good so far.
charged up with not problem and fits into tools without issue. Noticed only 5 screws holding the battery together. In past, bought similairly constructed batteries and the case fell apart because the plastic and screws would break from normal use........I dont drop my tools but the cases and screws cracked leaving me with broken batteries in past. I give it 4 stars so far. If they last more than a year, then I will update the review. If this battery falls apart again, I would say the plastic and molded construction need more screws and reinforcement in the plastic to hold up to normal use. I upgraded to 5 since after a couple of months now it works well. Time will tell and I will see it this will run the csaws. Runs fine on blower.

"Heavy" but worth the extra storage.
We all know a vacuum will rapidly drain a battery. I'm using the 9.0 Ah with a Ryobi vacuum. I've vacuumed the entire house twice and the 9.0 still displays 3 bars! That's approximately 20 minutes of use and there's 75% of energy remaining. Will this level of performance continue? "Don't know yet." So far, so good. 👍
