Great job that they do.
Not only do they catch flies but we got a very bad gnat problem from some tomatoes. We bought these and added it to the top of our homemade remedy for gnats and low and behold they stuck to it. 5 gnats less than 30 seconds. We wrapped a rubber band around our glass and put 2 of them on each side. They caught more gnats than the homemade formula. I highly recommend them.

Catches more that gnats
Bought these for a gnat problem in my outdoor garden. They work as intended but be aware that mine trapped several bees, lizards and even a tiny toad on the glue. It is so sticky that there was no way to save them.

The traps do the job they were designed for
Fungus gnats came with an indoor potted plant so I am pleased to report that I inserted the sticky trap, watered my plant and within seconds the trap was speckled with gnats. I wanted traps that worked and these do the job. One step accomplished in ridding my plant of these pesky gnats.

Excellent & Effective for Fungus Gnats
Had an annoying presence of fungus gnats. I’m not sure how we got them—we only have 5 plants & had never had fungus gnats before.Didn’t realize they were fungus gnats at first because they didn’t congregate around the plants—I thought they were a type of fruit fly. So I first tried the home remedy trick of apple cider vinegar & a couple drops of dish soap in a cup with small holes poked in a plastic wrap lid, which has worked wonders for me in the past for fruit flies….Didn’t catch a single one one these. After some research, I learned about fungus gnats & tried just really under-watering my plants for a few weeks. That didn’t help either. So, I decided to try these yellow stickies figuring they wouldn’t solve to problem but at least they’d let me know if indeed I had fungus gnats & which plant(s) were the problem.I caught a couple of flies the first day, identifying the problem plants. And much to my surprise, after a couple weeks without any other treatment methods, and only using a single sticky in each plant, I had caught a ton of gnats & my pesky gnat problem was solved! I’m so happy to not have annoying gnats flying in my face anymore! The only downside is having to see dead bugs unless you want to replace them, but I’d rather see dead bugs than have live ones flying around.Scent: I didn’t notice any scent.Adhesion: Seems to be excellent. Didn’t see any bugs come off, but I was careful not to touch the main sticky part with my hands when putting it into the plant—I tried to just touch the triangle part that goes into the dirt (didn’t use the shovel that comes with). They’re sticky on both sides.Ease of Use: Super easy.Value: Excellent—still have more left to treat again if they return for some reasonThrilled that these worked & would definitely recommend. Economical & effective solution.

They got rid of my fruit flies!
I ordered these sticky traps with some misgivings, but they were excellent! They were easy to put in my plant soil (a little shovel was included so that I could dig a tiny hole without disturbing my plants). I would order more, but four traps solved my problem!

Great even not for plants!
Our building where I work was built in the 30s and we have a serious gnat problem. Just taping one to my computer monitor has gotten 10 gnats in a few days and was like the 5th one I used from the box. Highly recommend!

Works almost immediately.
I hung four traps about two inches from the top of the canopy and four traps at the base of the plants.Within five minutes the traps caught half a dozen white flies. Within 30 minutes the traps had about two dozen white flies. Won't trap all white flies, so I used neem oil as well. Caught a few fungus gnats too.
