Perfect for new braces-wearers
This was the exact tool our orthodontist uses and helped my kiddo get the hang of putting rubber bands on their braces. Well-made, sturdy, medical quality

Good to put bands on braces- see update
I purchased these to help out the rubber bands on my son's braces. My son is young, with a small mouth. So trying to put the bands on was difficult at best. I tried the plastic tool that is also sold and it was difficult to remove the band from the tool. A lot of "snap backs" frustration and tears.Bought these and along with a head light ( to see the "hooks" it was a breeze. The key is to put the band on the very top of this tool. Insert the band on the bottom brace hook ( don't try and put the band "down" on the hook but "up" from the bottom lip -up ) then move to place on the top brace hook ( going top lip, down).Update Jan 19 2020- well I had given these 5 stars and then last week they started to break. They no longer release or open all the way up. I guess I'll start looking for a new brand. You get what you pay for.
