Excellent product, excellent results.
If you've never used a foam roller, your in for a real ride. The pain initially is unbelievable as your natural body weight works with the roller to work out the kinks and knots in your muscles. For the first few weeks, you probably will nearly cry because of the pain, but I'll tell you what, it works. I started using this with a very well known exercise program, and never had pain the next day from lactic acid buildup or knots from day one. I've NEVER had that happen after starting a new program. I always had a week of two of lactic acid buildup and knots, and the pain associated with them. This roller has been one of the best investments for my body I've purchased yet, and is one of the best made I've found. It's well worth the money vs. the basic foam rollers sold by Gold's Gym and others. My IT bands have probably had the most benefit, but my calves, quads, arms...every muscle I can get this into with any pressure has been helped. It's honestly like giving yourself the best deep tissue massage you can. There are muscles you can't reach, but you can find other products to help those. Do yourself a favor, and give this three weeks of enduring through the pain, and your body will crave it.

Fantastic Foam Roller for Muscle Relief!
I’ve been using the TriggerPoint GRID Foam Roller for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become a staple in my recovery routine. The grid design is a game changer – it effectively targets sore muscles in my back, legs, and body. Whether I’m using it after a workout or for everyday muscle tension, it delivers a deep massage that helps reduce soreness and improve flexibility.

Great Foam Roller! Strong like bull, perfect size, and looks great!
I'm a male, 36, 5'10, 200 lbs, I workout/lift regularly but definitely still love tacos, sushi, and pizza and it shows. :)I've been having upper back and between my shoulder blades pain and started per a friends recommendation using a foam roller before/after workouts and generally when I have back/shoulder pain. We have a workout space in my condo building with a basic black form roller (used in the side-by-side pics) that's 36" inches long but I wanted something a bit more, more, so found this and am very happy with the product.First, I bulked at the price too. $60 bucks for a foam roller thing? Is it going to buy me dinner and put out after too? Kidding! :) But compared to the basic one I was using this is truly an upgrade. It's extremely solid, well crafted, good weight, and feels great when using. On sizes, the original one I have in the pics is 36" inches long, and I honestly found it to be too long. This one at 26" is the right size for what I feel a majority of people who would use this for their back, shoulders, legs, whatever.I really need help working out knots/pain points when hitting my back and shoulders and this really is firm but has enough softness from the foam padding allowing you really put pressure/weight on those paint points to work them out (Oh! The beautiful pain!!) vs feeling like you're rolling them on a pillow. At the end of the day, it's just a foam roller, but you get what you pay for and I'm very happy with the cost now that I've gotten my hands and back/shoulders on this and it performs much better than the basic foam roller I had been using.

It was too long
I got the extra long, one based on reviews, being even higher for the extra long one. I am not an advanced roller. I am a novice. I think I will try the regular roller. In case you’re wondering it is two pieces but one is tucked in the other, so perhaps there is a chance for breakage, but it certainly looks tough and well-made. I just found the extra length God in the way or shall I say I got in the way of it as I was trying to roll all the way down. The regular size one made more sense to me. Right now I’m in pretty bad shape as something has happened to my back and I’ve been , fairly immobilized and I’m not very strong right now. For those reasons I wish they offered one with a smaller circumference. Maybe I can find another one for as I get stronger, but I don’t have to lift myself so high. But this looks like it was an excellent piece of equipment .

Finally a full-size Grid!
I'm a huge foam roller guy - absolutely love them and use them religiously. Unfortunately they're expensive, barely last a year before they start getting soft and useless, and they're a pain to recycle (if you can even find a place that handles them). Enter the Grid 1.0 - it's definitely more firm than a typical foam roller, which might make using it too "painful" for some, but the flipside to that is it doesn't break down as easily. If you can handle the stiffness of it, it's a great product. Problem is the Grid is expensive and a little too small. The size does come in handy since you could pack it into a carry-on (a must for runners doing a marathon out of town), and the hollow core meant you could stuff it with items (like socks) so you didn't really lose that much space in your suitcase. But unfortunately the small size also meant that it was harder to use - it just felt more awkward rolling on this tiny thing than using a full-size foam roller. The Grid 2.0 fixes that - it's "normal" size, and I feel it's more enjoyable and satisfying to use than it's predecessor. You can hit hard to reach spots without constantly shifting the roller or yourself around like the 1.0. Also, call me crazy but I can actually feel the bumps on them this time - both this and the Grid 1.0 have 3 levels of foam "spikes" but you could barely tell the difference between them on the 1.0; here you can definitely feel the difference and the massage feels deeper because of it.The 2.0 used to cost a fortune, but the price seems to have dropped, so there's now no reason I'd not recommend it. (It's still the price of maybe 2 regular foam rollers but it'll last easily several times as long.) The 1.0 will still be my travel buddy, but the 2.0 will be my home roller from now on. Get em both!
