It’s ok. Will do as a spare. Takes a lot longer than my older one. This has an element and my other has a plate.

Really good quality it takes about 15 mins to boil 300ml of water.I like the the auto shut off when it boils.

I only ever boil 500ml and that takes about 10mins. Perfect for a fresh tea
