Finally!
I have tried several kinds of waterproof earbuds for swimming. The short cord is a must. I just clip the IPod Shuffle to my swim cap and go...no long cord slapping me in the face when I do backstroke! The curved part doesn't fit over my ears, but I don't care because the earbuds actually stay in the for the entire 30-45 min. swim. I love that it came with 3 different kinds of earbuds and multiple sizes. The ones shaped like trees work the best for me. And the sound is great-no muffling because water doesn't get in my ears. I love these!

Coated wires for ears irritatingly difficult to place so that they won’t dislodge when swimming
I’m not sure I like the built in curl for around the ears. The buds are more difficult to apply to my ears as I have to spend time getting them ‘just right’ around the ear or after a few laps they will become dislodged and slide out from my cap causing them to stiffly ‘flap’ at the side of my head and pull the bud out just enough to change or cancel the sound? That requires me to stop frequently to readjust. Very irritating because after I get started I don’t want to stop for 160 lengths!this is my biggest problem with these headphones.

Good Bluetooth use
I have been looking for a Bluetooth ability to listen to my phone as I swim. The H2O Audio Surge works well.Distance from the phone can be a problem. It loses connection easily. However, it has provided me with what I wanted, to listen to Spotify as I swim. ( I have an Endless Pool and am stationary. ) I do not know how well it will work for someone who is doing laps.

THESE DON’T WORK
I bought these with hopes of using them 4-5 times a week for lap swimming, but as soon as they got wet the literal first time I ever used them, they stopped working. One of the earphones stopped playing any sound and the other immediately became muffled. Save your money and find a cheaper (and inevitably better) pair. I thought splurging on them was a good idea because I figured they must be good if they’re so expensive right? WRONG! I had to immediately return them because they didn’t even work the first time I ever used them. There are cheaper options on Amazon that have lasted me much longer (than one freaking use!!) without all the annoyance.

Superior product from a Superior Company....
H2O is small firm that has been for several years at forefront in the design and manufacture of quality aquatic audio gear. I purchased their first products, which were adequate but in need of improvements - which H20 made in a due time. Their current headphone and mp3 player are highly reliable - both with respects sound quality and water resistance. I swim EVERY day and know I can rely on my H20 gear. In the few instances when I've encounterd a problem, their customer service team was highly responsive and helpful. They "get it" when it comes to customer service. Not an exaggeration to say they are the BEST in their business.
