single wood board. Sturdy and smooth.
The best thing is that it’s a single wood board and doesn’t comprise different pieces of wood glued together which come apart eventually (as I have seen with chopping boards purchased earlier that weren’t a single wood) with continuous exposure to water and other wear & tear. It’s 1 inches in thickness and the wood is quite heavy and sturdy which doesn’t make it slid while working. Cleaning the board is a breeze as the surface is smooth and food doesn’t really stick to it. It’s worth the price. So far so good. Hoping to get years of use out of it considering the prime quality of the product.

Worthy buy !
Best cutting board I have had to date…. The Acacia wood is perfect as it’s semi hard and won’t spoil expensive Swiss knife’s edge and at the same time provide the longevity one would expect from an expensive board . Being natural wood it has to be seasoned /Rubbed with a layer of coconut or Gingely oil and dried in the sun for a 2-3 hours before first use to ensure the wood looks Brownish and also repel water . Coconut /Gingely oil will also double up as an anti bacterial coating . Repeating the seasoning process once a month will be good .

Polish getting removed from chopping board
While the board might feel good and heavy in terms of of quality initially, I realised that on using it, that it leaves a brown color everytime it’s washed and kept for drying. It makes me wonder if all this polish is going into our stomach.

Board is good but got a hole on the board within 2 months of use, I do maintain it well but not sure how it happened.
