Q: Would the bristle of body scrub brush be very prickly?

No. The bristles are 100% soft silicone.

Q: Where are these made?

It was very difficult to track anything down on where these are made. What I could ascertain it looks like they are made in China. It was under a weird link beautail uspto. report which I think is some sort of trademark application for the manufacturer.

Q: Does it scrub well though? Like a loofah can? I tried too many of these that are not scrubby/scratchy enough. Flimsy fibers not sturdy enough.

Well because I have really dry skin and if I miss one day of not putting some type of oil or lotion on my skin it will become flaky. This scrubber works well enough for me because it helps my skin to stay exfoliated enough to not flake after each use. Thereby, it works, no the little scrubby things are not so stiff to where it scratches your skin like a hard loofah scrub would but it does exfoliate the skin when used daily.
