First description says made in china. total let down. second description says made in germany. would be acceptable. can someone clarify??

Rosle "was" a great German company, but it's been (at least a decade) since they sold-out their German manufacturing to china.

How long is the cutting edg? The classic Ecko was 40 mm, 8 mm to handle. I also use my peeler to shave/slice semi-hard dry-jack cheese.

You wont get a goot result with this. Too much play on the swivel to cut hard cheeses and softer ones eill bind up.
