This is a complete cnc kit . It works just as described. I am buying a bigger kit to use it on my SHOP TASK CNC MACHINE. THANK YOU SO MUCH AMAZON AND SAINSMART. THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE KIT......

The documentation for the wiring is contradictive and will make you guess yourself 100 times and will test your patience. Make sure your couplers for your ball screws are solid. The nema 23 motors. lol. Enough torque they snapped. I have to upgrade those now. This hobby is not cheap and has been a trip of up and downs. Almost have a complete DIY ROOT 3 CNC. Im not a fan of mach3 yet. Im use to GRBL. Ill keep the mach3 board for now but I might switch back. I really just bought the kit for the price for the drivers and motors are worth it.

I purchased to build my hotwire foam cutting CNC machine but within 2 days 2 of 4 stepper motor drivers dead and now even controller stopped working because of high voltage issue. Power supply came in this kit has 29 to 36v output where as I guess Mach3 controller needs input between 12-24v. My return policy period is over so I can't return it. Total money loss. Stepper motors are in working condition.

Have this working on my Sherline mill. Few things you should know. You can get a nearly identical switching power supply that will provide both the 24v and 36v outputs, this does not come with this kit. You can't successfully microstep with this kit as delivered (at least we couldn't, after several days of trying) the demo version of Mach3 does not allow the usb bandwidth. Once I got the full license (additional $175) all is working. Also I wanted dual shaft steppers - didn't think of that until later. The additional software cost for this bundle makes it less attractive.

Great kit, working perfectly

I have used this kit almost a year and planning on buying another one for an upcoming new CNC project. I am using Mach3, Windows 10, 32 bit. The documentation was not great but with careful thought,research (and a little luck) I was able to get it running rather quickly. I noticed my X axis was overheating and I switched motors with another axis and only X was still overheating so I believe it is my settings in Mach3. The cuts are accurate and I didn't want to mess that up so I did what I saw many others do and add a fan to that motor. It runs cool now even after being in use for over 2 hours at a time.These are powerful motors, if you are not using limit switches be careful you could damage your lead screws or at the least alter the position of the cutter to the project.

This is a great kit for beginners but as others have said, the version of Mach3 that comes with is only the demo version which only allows for 500 lines of code to be ran. You will need to purchase the full license to be able to run any project of any complexity. The documentation the comes on the CD is somewhat scattered around and at times hard to find what you need so make sure you read through everything before beginning your build. All the wiring diagrams and manuals are in there it just may not be in a folder you would expect it to be.

I purchased this kit to upgrade an old Techno Isel CNC. It will do everything that I want it to do and was certainly in the right price point.

Great kit. Using to build my first Cnc. Very easy to wire up and great for this beginner. Haven’t finished the project so not sure how it will hold but everything seems very well built. The mach3 preloaded was a nice bonus.

This is a GREAT set up for almost any cnc diy! even had demo Mach3 Software on the controller board, motors are Strong and fairly easy to wire and run, I used this for a cnc plasma table, this kit would work great for many different cnc projects and I will be buying this kit again!Amazing with a great price!
