My Knitted Doll: Knitting patterns for 12 adorable dolls and over 50 garments and accessories

This author has created several knitting books. This one is for making dolls and their clothing and accessories. It is a bonus that it is possible to choose yarn colors to match a child’s hair and skin tone. All patterns are well thought out and directions are very good. I am an intermediate knitter. You may need to purchase some needles that will make knitting small garments easier. The author also has two very similar books where instead of dolls wearing outfits, she uses animals…very cute.

Love the photography for this beautiful book. The step-by-step instructions are amazing. What have I liked? The instructions have plenty of pictures for the special techniques. There is a great section that introduces knit stitches and colorwork. I recommend this book to all crafters who love to knit. Apart from the above I would like to the seller for wrapping my order nicely and delivering as printed on my invoice.

The dolls in this book are lovely , I hope to make them , but am.thinking about getting the actual book as I think it would be easier for me to work from.

I thought that this book was amazing. I have learned so many new knitting skills. One time I had a question and e-mailed Louise and she got back to me immediately and even drew a sketch. I found it very detailed and had fun changing up the colors. I'm on my 7th doll. My skills have really impoved and the directions are step by step.

Easy to follow patterns, not really for beginners.

This book provides clear instructions for creating a little love for the young children in your life. If you are a fairly new knitter, the directions are excellent and techniques and stitches are clearly explained.

I took this book to my knit store and 3 other buddies ordered it as well. So many cute dolls to knit.

Great book with such detailed and creative designs. I made a doll for my granddaughter with a an entire wardrobe of outfits. So fun to knit and the patterns were all accurate (which can be a rarity these days!). My Granddaughter was thrilled and plays with them often. For me it was a wonderful way to use up a lot of my stash scraps!

Very fast delivery and love this book!! Made some already with accessories and they are wounderful to offer as gifts along with my baby/childs knitted clothing that I create and make.

Not tried any patterns yet but looks really good to follow
