I wouldn’t say I have ear issues, but like everyone, we like to keep our ears clean and excess debris-free, allowing the ear to self-clean as long as there isn’t an impacted obstruction. Now I’m aware no one should EVER insert anything foreign objects into the ears except medically trained professionals with masses of experience performing the treatment safely. Still, for decades myself included, I have done this anyways from Q-tips, spiral ear cleaners, water syringes (which gave me a nasty infection), as well as metal ear picks that can push the build-up further inside. So my reason for purchasing was to minimise the risks I already take, not eradicate them, as that’s impossible for the average person not medically trained. To minimise the risk is to view what you are doing in regards to depth and avoid the delicate ear drum that can be perforated easily. I’ve experienced this, which isn’t pleasant in the slightest.For this listing, the current reviews were slightly concerning as most reported failure within one single use to six weeks either with light failure battery no longer charging or complete inability to connect to the product app, but as this particular listing had around 1,000 more reviews and #1 Best Seller, 59% five stars, alongside 21% four stars and 20% three or below) I took the risk as Amazon are usually good at refunding. I’m always cautious of Amazon reviews, in particular. I scrutinise if they’re, in fact, genuine, as many aren’t without a hidden agenda. But rest assured, mine will be brutally honest if required and will happily expose the flaws where I will comment on the three aspects, Pro, Med and Con. I also looked at the app “EndoscopeTool”, and the reviews aren’t too favourable either, although there was a recent update a month before my purchase. Hoping they rectified these issues that others claimed to have had with connection across all platforms.Now with my use.I used an ear wax softener as I usually would for a few days before any cleaning.Pro:____* The camera is precise. I don’t find it difficult to view the canal or have distorted images or lag, even with the attached accessories. Though highly recommend viewing via an iPad/tablet for easier viewing than a small mobile device. Viewing is going to be subjective as ear canal sizes differ. I’d say mine aren’t large or narrow. If they are, lift the ear upwards, which helps.* Multiuser, the app can be installed on separate devices, allowing others to use (of course sanitise in between users)* It seems a lot of others have had issues with the tips breaking. Of course, this is a massive risk as they could easily fall deep into the canal with no safe user way to remove it. Thankfully through my usage, this hasn’t occurred yet. If this is the case, I shall update at the end of my full review under “Updates.”* Once the attachments are pushed upwards and twisted into place, they don’t move. During my use, they haven’t become detached and seem secure.Med:____* There is no storage pouch for the device when not in use. Of course, I knew at the time of order that the accessories arrived in a small tube together. Still, the device and attachments could potentially be separated and misplaced. I’ve placed mine in a resealable food bag to keep when not in use. For the price, you’d expect some storage.* The material used is plastic throughout the entire product. I do feel to improve. It would’ve been an excellent addition to have a silicone strip to improve grip. Holding plastic can naturally become oily from the fingers.* It can be challenging to navigate initially, but you soon get the hang of it. It took me a good while to twist sideways, forwards and backwards to get the correct position and learn the camera's orientation.* Because the camera's zoom is high, any debris on the camera can look larger than it is. After scraping and the device is out of the ear, the debris is hardly noticeable to the human eye. Also, because of the magnification, the eardrum is closer and not getting as close without being too close to remove wax effectively slightly more forwards.* The set includes x2 of each shape. In all honesty, there’s very little difference except the mushroom. The product description shows the difference. But in person, they genuinely look and feel the same.Con:____* Let’s get the most significant concern out of the way first. I don’t understand why there is a need to connect to the app's designated network instead of the user's own Wi-Fi direct connection. That is undoubtedly a breach of privacy to the user. When I thought of Wi-Fi, I thought of my Wi-Fi. Just make sure you disconnect before you intend to connect with banking and other sensitive information.* The unit gets relatively warm, respectfully, as the ears are sensitive, including heat. With extended use, It can become uncomfortable and feels more on the hotter side to use for more than 5 minutes per ear. I do need to stop and allow it to cool before continuing. It takes at least two minutes to cool off, but as soon as you start again, the temperature increases quicker. So for me, it’s not an instant 5 minutes.*Some of the attachments aren’t entirely smooth on the edges, and at times I found continuous movement in a particular area causes irritation and redness. Funny enough, the required Wi-Fi connection required is “Softish”. So that seems fitting.* The battery isn’t fantastic after a full charge of around 30 minutes; after just 9 minutes of total use, the battery is already down to the lowest bar. I honestly don’t know how some are getting an hour. Suspicious. Unless they are constantly recharging it, then continue. I find it unlikely on a single charge that this would be possible. And not “use time long”, as the description states. I find I have to charge fully to continue on the other ear or risk empty whilst, which defeats the purpose of being able to view. The device does flash when the battery is low, so at least it does warn you.Overall____Would I pay upwards of £40 for this? No, and thankfully I didn't, as it was on sale at £24.99 at the time of this review. Sure, the camera is clear in video quality, and the light is bright. But the battery longevity after full charge is terrible, and the accessory tips aren't smooth and easily irritate due to the sharp edges and the general quality. I may have been another unfortunate customer that unfortunately got the attachments in a poor finish as others seem to have not have had issues or reviewed the product quickly after arrival. I have chosen not to add images/videos as other reviews have, and I wouldn't be able to show anything else worthy of adding. Hopefully, you have found this review helpful if this is/isn’t for you.__________Update: 30/8/22Two attachments have had silicon wear after only a few weekly uses and, most likely, with another few, will ultimately see the base of a waste bin.

It's a really amazing technology. I ordered it first time because my friend recommend me to order it try this product. In a starting I was scared to use but It's really nice and useful product. It has small camera on ear wax machine, so it's really easily we can see it in the phone how deep we go inside the ears. It's really good pictures quality and very easy to use this product and also long lasting battery life. Thanks

The ear cleaning device arrived and was very easy to set up and worked well.It feels sturdy and is easy to use, overall I am very happy with this purchase.

This is great product. I use it all the time when ever I need to clean my ear and a child's ear. Works great. Great entertainment aswell for kids. They are amazed whats inside their ears. Of course use it caution and very careful.

Great little tool and good camera quality. Sometimes a little hard to use on yourself but might just be me. Battery could last a bit longer but other than that very good!

I have had an issue with my right ear for a while but haven't had the time or money go go get it syringed. This device was a life saver! I've been sceptical of these sort of devices in the past that I've seen in various adverts on social media but decided to take the plunge and get one and I do not regret it.The picture quality could be a tiny bit better but it's go enough for the job it's designed to do. It allows you to clearly see the wax in your ear and for the price of 25 GBP you can't really complain.It's a little fiddly to use, when you are removing wax sometimes you can't see what you are dragging out so it takes a bit of trial and error. It took me about 30minutes to clear my right ear completely but that is probably more down to my hand eye co-ordination through the camera than anything else.The device has a 130MHA batter which according to the brochure lasts for about 30minutes. Without charging fresh out of the box my device lasted slightly more than 30minutes before it warned me about low battery. It should be noted that when the battery gets low the picture quality worsens alot, when mine got low the coulers started to go funny and I got black lines throughout the picture. I was worried it was broken but it turns out it was just low battery so if you purchase this and it happens to you do not be alarmed it is not brokenYou have the option of flipping the camera to invert the picture on your phone which is a nice touch depending on how your brain works with moving the tool around. It also has a mode that warns you if you are touching your ear drum which is a nice touch however I think this is mostly based on pressure on the tip than anything else as it was alerting me when I was removing the was from the tool with my tissue paper so still handle with care.Overall fantastic product, could use a little better picture quality and is a bit fiddly to use and takes some time to get the hang of but ultimately an amazing buy.
