Can I give 10 stars? Why did I wait so long??
I like making burgers, grilled cheese and scrambled eggs but I used to HATE cleaning my frying pan. Enter this wonderful electric skillet. I was making burgers tonight and I am still in awe of how great this is to cook on. Using my usual pan (never again) I would have to spend about 10 minutes and scrub with a brush first, then more soap, then the scrubbie and double check too be sure I got all of the meat off of the pan. Ugh! I would skip cooking a decent dinner for myself because I couldn't get past the idea of having to clean the pan! I've made scrambled eggs with lots of cheese and no butter to grease the pan. First, it doesn't stick while I'm cooking. And if a tiny bit is left at the end it just wipes right off with a wet paper towel for me. I chose the 7.5 qt because I especially wanted the diamond-shaped coating and the dishwasher safe feature. I'm glad I did chose bigger than I originally wanted because it has plenty of surface area to cook on. I made four burgers tonight and it took barely any time. Did I mention that they were frozen when I started? And they were turkey burgers so no grease to stop them sticking either. And they STILL didn't stick! I give it a quick bit of soap and hot water, run my hand along the surface of it because I'm picky about no food being stuck to anything, and a good rinse without having to worry if I get water in the plug area. Again, I wanted the dishwasher safe so I'd know that if I got water in it I wouldn't have to worry about how long it would take to dry or "did I break it?" As for the heating coil, I start it out low while I'm preparing things and move it up a bit at a time (within 5 minutes) I want it to last a good long time and it seems that some people have a problem with the heating element burning a pattern into the pan. I figure if I do it my way that the metal and coating will be able to warm up slowly and instead of going from 0 to 350 instantly because the can heat fast, even doing it my way. It's only my theory about moving the heat up slowly so it's up to you if that's what you want to do. If I remember I'll update this review in a year. Many people write that and don't do it so we'll see if I write in a year. I only use my silicone spatula that I bought at the same time. It's a really big one that the burgers fit on just fine. And that's easy to clean too :-)

Do not hesitate-- worth the money!
I went from an open-type griddle with a great drain that really needed replaced. I was hesitating because my griddle was perfectly non-stick, but I got tired of not being able to cover the food that's cooking. I didn't have much hope when I ordered this because of the grease not draining as I cooked bacon, but to be completely honest, I'm more than happy with this! It's light and easy to move around, but big enough to cook a large meal. I drop everything because of loss in my hand functions and I've never had a problem holding onto this. There is also an easy-pour spout on the side that is very handy if you're pouring liquid out! It wipes out VERY EASILY, even if it's burnt-on. However, I also run it through my dishwasher a few times a month and it comes up perfectly new and clean! I'm currently waiting for my husband to mess-up and use a metal spatula with it to see if it scratches. Currently I use silicone only and have had no issues with the coating. As far as cooking, I always notice these devices have "hot spots", meaning that in certain spots your food may burn. This is pretty typical, but I've noticed that this heats pretty evenly. I hope it stays that way! It also heats up really quickly, which is nice because my electric top stove takes forever!! I use this almost every day and so far, I'd definitely purchase another one, but I feel the quality is good enough that I won't have to! If you're hesitating... don't! You won't regret this purchase.

Heats up and cooks quickly without using too much counter space. It cleans up easily and does stores nicely with the rest of out cooking items. Very nice and easy to use and never had an issue.

Nice pan
This is a really nice electric pan. I did have to return it because it was just too big for me, but I did use it and it does work really well. If you have a larger family or if you make larger batches of food or stews, soups, roast or even deep frying, this is the pan for you. The only reason I returned it is because I did not want to have to store it. It is just way too big for us.

Great for cooking baby back ribs
I love these electric skillets. They are easy to clean and you can slow cook roasts and ribs in them beautifully. I already owned a smaller one and cooked some baby back ribs in it. They came out perfectly tender at 225 degrees for 3-4 hours. Cooking time and temp depends on how fall off the bone tender you want them. This skillet is so easy to use and holds 2 big racks of ribs which I cook over a bed of onions, chopped pineapple and apple chunks. I use chicken stock for the liquid. One should note that you have to add water in these skillets frequently during the cooking. I use broth instead at first than switch to water. The broth brings in the salt. I also add barbeque sauce on top of the ribs and flip them after an hour of cooking starting with them upside down than after an hour I flip and cover them with barbeque sauce. I also cooked a big sized pork roast in this with carrots. I always sear the roast prior to putting into the skillet for slow cooking. You'll love these once you get used to the evaporation and keeping up with it. It's like a crockpot but doesn't retain the liquid as a crock pot does which to me give the meat a better flavor/texture. This is a good value for the money in my opinion. I like cooking devices that I can leave for extended periods of time and smell the roast cooking all day. This will give you that but not as much as a crock pot due to evaporation.

I bought the Elite Gourmet skillet June 2022. I season the pan with olive oil or spray before every use. I've never used anything to scratch the surface of the pan. After only six months of use, EVERYTHING sticks to the pan. I couldn't be more disappointed having read the great reviews of this product.

Great size for our family of 5. Heats well, although there are cooler spots around the edge, but we can work with it. Non-stick surface is great. Challenging to wash by hand in our sink with the size so I prefer to put it in the dishwasher. We cook with this in the kitchen and take the whole unit to serve out of at the table. Great cooking device for the price. Would recommend.

I am quite pleased and surprised with the 4" depth of this electric frying pan. You can cook large quantities of meat, stews, etc. There are vents on the bottom to assist with heat distribution and component protection. I also like that it is PFAS free, easy to wash, and not overly heavy.

Have only used it a few times so far. The first big test was Christmas Eve’s fish fry. The depth and size is awesome. I filled it just over half way (about 2+ inches) with maybe 3 litres of vegetable oil. I set the temperature to about 375 and let the oil heat up. I was surprised how quick the oil got to temperature. Using an instant read thermometer, I checked the oil temperature and was fairly pleased at the heat distribution. I cooked 4 pounds of crumb battered perch and 3 pounds of pickerel. The oil didn’t get low enough for things to get any scorching flavour. I was able to fry about 12 of the perch fillets at once. The pickerel fillets were about 12 inches long and I was able to fry 4 at once. I have a Hamilton Beach deep fryer. I like it but this pan did the same job with less oil and because of the surface area, I was able to fry more fish per round. Clean up is significantly easier than my deep fryer. Why not 5 stars? The unit is not as robust as I had hoped. For the price I was hoping for a heftier product. I am somewhat concerned about durability. I’ll check in a couple years from now.

This is the best version of electric skillet we've ever bought and we've used these kind of skillets for over 30 years! It's super deep and holds enough bolognese for a dozen or more dinners. We use this to make a big batch and freeze it. It has a handy pouring spout in one corner. Also the power connector has an easy release lever to pull the plug out without sloshing the contents about.
