How do you know what color to get?

I am a fair skinned redhead and do not naturally tan hardly at all. I use the medium to tan because I can use less product to achieve the same shade as multiple layers of the light to medium. The color looks perfectly natural on my neutral undertone skin.

can I apply vaseline lotion after?

This product serves its purpose as both a moisturizer and self-tanner. My legs stayed moisturized the remainder of the day after applying. I would not apply another lotion after or you will dilute the tanning effects. Just my opinion.
