The media could not be loaded. Bought this fireproof document box about 2 months ago to organize and protect important family documents in one central location. The size is generous at 16.1 x 12.9 x 11 inches and easily holds passports, birth certificates, insurance papers, and photo albums with room to spare. The mesh pocket on the lid is handy for frequently accessed items like current bills or receipts. The aluminum foil lining gives it a serious fireproof appearance though obviously I can’t test the 5200°F claim without destroying it. However, setting the combination lock has been frustrating - it took several attempts following the instructions to get it programmed correctly, and even now it sometimes doesn’t open on the first try despite entering the right code. The double zipper system works smoothly when the lock cooperates. The handles make it easy to carry when full and the reflective strips are a thoughtful safety feature. The PP material construction feels sturdy and the box maintains its shape even when packed full. The anti-static exterior does seem to repel dust better than regular plastic storage boxes. The non-slip pads on the bottom keep it stable on shelves. The waterproof claim seems accurate based on a few minor spill tests. For document organization it’s excellent with plenty of space for growing families’ paperwork. The folding capability is useful for storage when empty. Build quality seems solid for long-term use. Would recommend mainly for the storage capacity and peace of mind, just be patient with the lock setup process.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Great size for storing my most important files and other miscellaneous items. Like all the compartments. I like that it's easy to grab by the handle if I need to run out with it. Ideal for travel or emergencies.Love that it is Fireproof and can withstand temperature up to 2000℉ and also highly water-resistant and it has a lock - WOW!I purchased the OUTWOLF Hanging File Organizer Box, Mesh File Folder Organizer File Crate File Cabinet Inserts Storage Box, Letter Size for a little extra support.I would encourage every household to have something like this handy.

Perfect for organization of important papers. Easy to zip. Sturdy. Easy to lift and move to an office space or storage. Holds lots of hanging files. All black with silver handles, so looks nice. Would have been perfect if it came with hanging folders and tabs included.

Exactly what I needed. Organized my files perfectly. Easy to carry and lightweight. The material feels like my other fireproof folder. Zipper closes smoothly. I’m using this for long term storage and my accordion fireproof folder for current year storage. Paperwork I might go back to during the year. This bin I’ll store somewhere else and add what I need at the end of the year. WORTH IT!!!

The lock is a good security measure, but seems almost useless. It's not exactly difficult to carry off and you could probably cut into it with a sharp enough tool. However, it's good for peace of mind.This would also work much better in a drawer-type style. The top of the box is a zip cover so it flips up, which means if you don't want to move it to open it, you need to have it in a place where there's enough room above the box to be able to flip the lid up. You're otherwise lugging it around and if you have it filled with documents (or items), it could get hefty.The other issue I've found is that the hanging file folders don't slide very easily or well on the edge that seems to be designed for file folders. They end up falling off the edge if you aren't extremely careful. On way around this is to put in perfectly sized bins for file folders (but again adding weight to the box).Despite its shortcomings, the box is more or less functional and has a lot of nifty pockets. For the price, it provides some sense of security for important documents and helps keep you orgainzed.

Love this fireproof file box. It’s got lots of additional pockets inside and out. I also love that it opens on the side like a file drawer. This someone helps with the organization. I was able to use hanging file folders in it. The silver trim abs study handles made it attractive and easy to move. I got this for important papers but plan to get another one of these styles fire my coloring books because of its storage capacity and pockets to house colored pencils and markers and other art supplies! It would be perfect for that use!
