Saucony Endorphin Shift 2, Men's Running Shoe

Brilliant running trainers. I can definitely feel the quality of these trainers have improved my overall performance. Great fit, comfortable for my 10Km+ 3 times a week.

Great trainers

I bought two pairs of these, one in yellow\green and one in alloy\jade. As I have a bunion on my left I needed quality footwear. Under normal circumstances I am a size 11 but opted for a size 12 to accommodate the disfigurement on my left foot. Regrettably the inner lining of the right trainer on one pair has an issue with the material within. It is the material that is at fault and nothing to do with ‘the big toe effect’. I have taken to wearing them indoors as slippers and use the good pair for outdoors. Both pairs have been used outside on the same surfaces.

I bought the shift 1 and loved it, but I've since run in the shift 2 and as some reviewers have stated, it feels a bit harder than the first shift. Plus, as some have stated, it feels a little bit narrower than the previous shift. Update..after 40 km, they feel better but still feels a bit narrow...I bought a second pair and it wasn't hard and didn't need any breaking in when it arrived. Therefore, it may have been an isolate issue...

Very sturdy and well made shoe. I also have a pair on Saucony Axon 2 which I prefer. The Endorphin Shift 2 can feel like clogs but they may ease up with more mileage. I would recommend as a training shoe as you will get your moneys worth with durability, however, for a fast run I would chose a lighter shoe.

I have worn Saucony shoes for twenty years, but the Guide 13's I bought in 2021 were a disappointment. They were fine except that they started to tear at the collar after a few runs and they really looked crappy. But I decided to give the Guide 14's a chance, and these have been great. I've got over 200 miles on each of the two pairs I own, and they're holding up just fine. I think they do provide some extra support without feeling stiff. Very comfortable shoes and they don't feel clunky at all. I read the review talking about resisting the temptation to replace the laces. Before the I received these shoes, I wondered what they were talking about. I must have missed the memo about these new stretchy laces. I'd never had anything like them before, and I wondered what was up the first time I tied these laces up. But I really like the laces. No need to double knot them when you tie your shoes, and they never come untied. Pretty neat. Once again, I ordered a half-size larger than I would with any other brand of shoe. For whatever reason, Saucony shoes seem to run a bit small. But going with a half-size larger seems to work for me.

Great shoe and provide good support for long runs. Feels stiff and inflexible. Almost like a stability shoe.
