A little tricky (for me) to get in and out of case, but simply amazing item. I am quite pleased with the convenience of always having my readers with me. I've often forgotten my reader and had to take a pair off a display case in a store to use briefly then put back. The judging eyes of people watching me borrow readers and put them back makes me feel like a complete degenerate. These things make me feel COOL! I love them! Super light weight so no worries about your ignition switch being damaged by the weight of your keys and all the crap hanging on the key chain. (Yes - that's happened to me... costly repair.) Even someone with a narrow nose bridge would find these secure on your face while using them. I wish they had a blue-blocking coating, but for being in a restaurant or in a store where you need to read a label they are perfect. About the same cost for a traditional set of readers. Nice not to WEAR readers on my head or around my neck. Highly recommend.

I give these "glasses" 4 out of 5 stars. They work exactly as advertised. They are comfortable to wear and they don't fall off your nose. The carrying case is compact and does a nice job of keeping them safe as well as accessible. One thing I wish they had was some sort of microfiber cloth storage. Because there are no ear pieces I find myself touching the glass part more frequently thus require more frequent cleaning. All in all I would recommend these to anyone.

These tiny gems sit in your pocket effortlessly until you need them. Then, just extract by sliding the little button, pop them on your nose, read those dark menus and bills to your heart's content, then snap them back into their case. They are so great that after my wife bought me one pair, I bought three more for my briefcases, travel bag, home, and suit pocket as I head off to work. They do scratch a bit, but who cares? They still do what you need them to do and are so compact and convenient.

I just wanted to let you know that my husband loves these when he stops at the store, as he doesn't have to carry his readers around his neck. When he had his cataract surgery I had him get a toric lens needed in one eye, so for the first time in his life he doesn't have to wear glasses for his distance, just needs the readers for close up, and this Optics Keychain sure is working great for him!

After years of wearing progressive glasses, and being able to see near and far at all times, I switched to multifocal contacts. The catch was that with my prescription, I would need reading glasses on occasion, depending on what I was reading. I wondered how I would handle this glasses thing. I thought of carrying a small magnifying glass, but where would I keep it, and what if I needed to use both hands and see up close at the same time? It would have been a major nuisance to be going in and out of my purse every time I needed to use my glasses for only a few seconds. Enter ThinOptics readers! I ordered the keychain case, and clipped it to my belt loop. These glasses are perfect for when I need to to read something quickly for a short time. It's so easy to take them out of the case, and put them back! For the first few weeks of using my ThinOptics, I thought all my glasses troubles were resolved. Then came a disappointment. A few days ago, I took them out of the case to clean them. When I held them up to the light I found scratches on them. I then read the reviews on Amazon and noticed lots of complaints about scratches. Some people were even purchasing new pairs of ThinOptics every 3 months because they loved the glasses but hated the scratches. I carefully examined my case and realized that the scratches are the result of sliding the glasses in and out of the case. The inside of the case is just hard plastic with no soft lining. Besides the lack of a soft lining, the bottom end of the case, and the slider slot, are open at all times, allowing for dust particles to enter, and add to the scratches. This issue of the scratches is extremely disappointing to me, as I had already gotten accustomed to the convenience of these glasses. In order to avoid more scratches, I won’t use my keychain case anymore. I have replaced it with my leather AirPod case, which I purchased on Amazon a few years ago. It has a strap, so I can still keep it on my belt loop or on my purse strap. I insert the glasses with the nose piece through the bottom of the AirPod case. It fits perfectly in the hole for the Lightning charger cable. The outer edges of the lenses press against the sides of the case. The front and back of the lenses are not in contact with anything. When I insert and remove the glasses, only the outer edges of the glasses rub against the sides of the leather case. I don’t anticipate any additional scratches. ThinOptics comes with a case that causes scratches on the glasses. That is careless planning on the part of the person who created the cases. After so many complaints about scratches, I think the vendor should make an effort to redesign the cases. I would give 5 stars for the glasses alone. These glasses would be fine in a plastic credit card case with with a soft lining and hinges so that the glasses could be inserted and removed without sliding.

I purchased these for my husband who only wears glasses for computer work but always had a hard time reading restaurant menu's. We tried to remember to bring his glasses when we went to restaurants but we would often forget them so we thought to try these. These are great. We have them on his keychain and he pulls them out whenever he needs them. These allow him to read menu's and any other small print things that he needs to read while out and about.

It is very handy but it will break. Mine went after four months. It is flimsy, and you can lose the plastic glasses if you don't insert it in the right way each time. It is 20 euros so I brought another one and I have purchased a different manufacturer also. Mine lasted four months so a fiver a month. Not sure value for money but handy instead of having to carry glasses everywhere. This will attach to your keyring. It is ok.
